Maybe not those stones in particular Crim, but that's an interesting idea.

All I see wrong with it is the names. The gems you listed don't click in my head when I see them glowing.

True, if we did it with -RARE- stones, then sure, it would fit perfectly.

Otherwise, we've just got a bunch of players running around with stupidly massive banks of energy which negates the spellplague.

I mean, really . . . .

This could be smacked around and abused too much.
