Please notice the dieing Steamless man

I am currently flailing about on the Forum Chat, BORED out of my mind, my steam isn't workign anymore, and I have nothing to do, DDD:!

Aww. Tried reinstalling steam?

Get out there, buy Oblivion for the PC, and go to the Elder Scrolls Nexus (a website). They have a huge amount of mods for Oblivion and Morrowind.

K... gunna start asking for advise.

I know what the problem is... sorta. Steam won't finish updating, it will start, but when I get this alert thingy about McAffee (My virus protection) and it something about the "detection signature file being between 8 and 29 days old" ... no idea what to do. I can't uninstall Steam because it says it is being use currently and it won't let me.

So.... anyone have any idea?
