macs suck, no viruses or not ESPECIALLY SCHOOL MACS they crash constantly, constant pop-ups of 'enable/disable macros', cant play REAL games, and are soooooo fucking dirty pcs are usually not white for a reason white does not make it look more futuristic and uh i like it when my shit opens right away, i dont need to wait for wordpad/notepad/paint to load yeahhhhhhh

Why do they call Windows computers PCs, anyway? Technically everything is a PC, even consoles to some extent.
When I'm doing audio work, I'm sorry, but Macintosh is the way to go. My work system is custom built, but still runs the Mac OS, and I've never, ever had a problem with it in ten years. And I use iMacs at work all the time for random jams on Logic.
They're not inferior, just different. And I love them for it.

If you like GarageBand, try Logic, Reason, ProTools or FruityLoops.

I'd agree. I don't have a mac, but owned one. I prefer games. Once college comes around, a Mac Book is the best thing to have to classes.

Time for the one with some actual education on the subject to go ahead and do this.
Macs are created for a specific audience. The faggots who sit at home, playing with photoshop and making shitty rave music days on end. They're not made for gaming. They're not made for programming or customizing. It's made for doing a few strict things. Like making stuff or editing stuff. Want to do something else? Fuck you, you get to do it when Apple decides to launch a fucking new OS with that as an added feature.
Windows is made for the majority of computer users out there. It's made to be simple, efficient, and stable, while still being advanced enough for you to do practically anything you want to do with it. Windows is not made to be editable by any other than Microsoft themselves.
Now Linux. Linux is the most versatile one out there. Linux is made to be edited and optimized by the community. Linux is made as a core, and then the community can build onto that and issue it in distributions. That makes you able to do whatever you want with it. Want to make an OS with nothing but a display for harddrive space? Do it. Want to make an OS which has features that allows you to control an entire network through console inputs? Do it.
TL;DR
Mac is simple and restrictive, but has fixed hardware that can't be replaced. Windows is simple, unrestrictive, but depends on the user to manage, upgrade, and replace hardware. Linux is simple, completely without any restrictions at all, and can be optimized to utilize little to no hardware.
And remember kids, this comes from a guy that's been studying this shit for a few years now.
