What is the currency used on the server? Is it IC coins? Or the OOC credit system (which is unrealistic with the paycheck system)

As of the moment, we go on a /me system. We HOPE people aren't pulling gold out of their ass.

A currency tracking system is in the works.

Gold Coins is the general term. Psyche has some values as to what an amount gets you. 15k or so is what you need for a house, I believe.

I posted them somewhere...it's nothing official, just a guideline.

2 gold buys you an ale at the bar.
5 gold buys you a edible meal.
15 gold buys you a pretty standard dagger.
50 gold buys you some form of light armor, like a hauberk or scale mail.
200 gold buys you a full set of plate mail.
Anywhere from 4000 to 15 000 will buy you most houses within the city walls.

Where would people store huge amounts of money like that?

Obviously keeping that many coins in your pockets would just be ridiculous.

There's variables, 1, 5, 10 and 100 coins...Or banknotes, I guess.
