Squirtle's a cool name, and at least it actually looks like a pokemon. The new ones look like failed concepts for EVA units (Not that that's a bad thing, I like that series), and don't seem to fit with the other, older ones. For example;

Squirtle would be an epic name for a porn movie.

Ever notice how Ash is technically keeping his Pokemon prisoner in small balls? They are forced to cram into those tiny ass things and I don't think he ever feeds them. There are also no real animals in this world so basically Pokemon trainers are like dogfighters

It's not bad because Pokemon sucked. Digimon was cool until they started teleporting into some sort of magical world and it got retarded because it made no sense anymore.

digimon was alright untill they started bringing the digimon into the real world and levelling most of a city without any of the adults giving a shit or the army being called in

when it was just 'KIDS GO TO DIGIMON LAND AND HAVE ADVENTURES' it was good, simple fun.

Every fad was milked to death... Pokemon, digimon, yu-gi-oh, bablade, etc.

my only experiences of yu-gi-oh involve taking the piss out of it and generally calling it shit.

beyblades were pretty cool as a toy, the tv show was shit, though.

anyone else remember medabots? those were the fucking shit. i still probably have peices of one of those under my bed. i wish i'd kept the medal.

I usually never watched the shows except for Pokemon and Digimon.

Digimon was the only anime show I've ever actually watched regularly.

Digimon wished it were Pokemon. And it was a terrible show, and terrible all together.

I played Yu-gi-oh as a kid, got really into it, wasn't long before I got pretty decent at it, and therefore bored.

Bayblades followed a similar pattern.

The real question is this, does anyone remember those little figures, they had grooves in the back-- were different colors, shaped like random things. I remember an egg, a dresser, odd shit. You set them up in lines, against another set, and player, and flicked them at one another. I can't for the life of remember what they were, they're really old.

OH CRAZY BONES! God damn...i was trying to remember the name for hours. Yeah crazy bones were pretty good, but you really only needed one set and you were good for anything, no real sense of collection. Hehe although i remember naming all of mine and giving them personalities.
