"Chikashta! Wendat!" Called the chief from the animal hyde tent, his severely tattooed and scarred arm folded over his chest. Chikashta, the youngest of the two girls, bearing white hair and a lightly tanned skin, reported immediatly infront of the chief while the other girl trailed behind. The chief eyed the slower girl, intensively staring down at her until her smugged expression turned into one of respect, which it did quite shortly after arriving. "It is time for you both to go forth on your right of passage... Whether you wish to return to our tribe or die in the uncharted plains is your choice." The two nodded, one more enthusiastic than the other. The chief continued; "You are both to go out on a hunt for the Absaroke." The simple mention of the word struck fear in the two's expression; the Absaroke were known to be vicious, blood thirsty witches disguised as women with the ability to control the wind. Anyone whom has encountered one and returned to the tribe village to tell were mighty warriors, most of them coming back with horrible battle wounds. The chief himself having gone through this. "The shamans will give you the gift of our people, the markings of centuries lf battle and survival of your fathers' fathers. Once you return, these markings will be given life and you will discover the true knowledge the firekeepers' had."

The two had been given an hour to say their good-byes to their families and friends. Their families, instead of sad and grief, felt pride and joy; their offsprings were worthy of such an honor to become a Firekeeper and mighty warriors. Whether they came back was of unimportance, though worrying to the mothers of course. Even if they had died in the wild, uncharted plains, they would have died in honor and in combat, a good death. Wendat was more relaxed, she was never very enthusiastic about her people's tradition but she had a strong mind, and this was important when becoming a firekeeper. When both were done with their families, they were brought into the Shamans' tent, where they sat for two hours being prayed upon and marked with the tattoos. Soon, the two were ready; given the basic tools of survival and sent off in the uncharted lands that seperated their people from the wildlife that hid populations vastly unseen by them...

The journey however, did not end as the chieftan had planned...

For the first few weeks, Chikashta had hunted all of the two's food. She didn't mind, and Wendat didn't ether. Wendat was busy practising her fighting tactics, using a long wooden branch as her practise weapon and a tree as her dummy target. She was good, Chikashta had to admit i. She moved with grace and agility that she herself had not yet atteined, but her combat skills were not far behind; her strength and hunting skills were far more superior than her's, balancing out their weaknesses and strengths. She knew that throughout the passing, the two were allies, but guards must be kept up.

Another month had passed before the two had arrived at the mountains where the Absaroke had nested. The pair had been relunctant to climb the mountain, but it hadn't taken long before they decided to venture further. The climb had been rugged, painful and long, but efficient. It had only taken them a week and a half before they had reached their first nest; empty, and so was the next, and the next, and the next... The nests were empty, no matter how high they were placed. Something was wrong as they reached the top, finding nothing but old corpses dressed in metal and a few feathers from an elder Absaroke. It was clear when they saw the massacre; the old breed of demon-winged birds was extinguished. The two looked to each other, without the birds of prey, what would they do to prove their worthiness as warriors?

I like it, and don't mind if people have a lot of characters - as long as they RP them, it's all good in my book.

Also, she's a skilled hunter and warrior with a large scythe and hand-to-hand, --and she's only 90 POUNDS? O_O

Anyway, I think everything works as it is. Attributes, personality, history, all seem good and proper. Apparently, she was 90 pounds before, and 145 now- good thing you changed that. Approved, but you're SF rping with me on one of these characters someday. I've gotta see how you RP them.
