Just finished downloading everything and it's up and ready. I generally don't like MMO shit, but I do like LOTR to an extent that I'll play this shit, so if anyone else have it, I'll be figuring out how to put on my robe and wizard hat in server 'Crickhollow'.

Ogod, I've been playing that game on "Brandywine", got to level 11, doesn't sound like much, but it took a while. It's fun at first when there's a story going on, but it loses it's luster after a bit.

All MMOs are fairly awful, and i did retry LOTRO under the reccomendation of a friend.

I seem to be immune to the addictive qualities of MMOs, which i wasn't a few years ago. LOTRO got boring fairly fast. I didn't play it again after the intial try.

Well actually WoW made levelling a lot easier if you recruit a friend, you get like, x3 experience.

I'm a massive LotR nerd, but I couldn't really get into LotRO after the story died away. It just seemed like a mindless grind.
So, I got bored and made a fat black hobbit called Stan.

Mhm, LOTR is good, just that the MMO version wasn't great.

wait a second...ummm is it just me or does this remind you of DDO, same graphics just with out the narrator *DM* speaking everytime you go some were. I know they are made or sponserd by the same company, but still i couldent get threw the first 5 min. of Lotro hell i couldent deal with DDO for to long either.

And it's like a super updated DDO- the graphics are stunning on this one. The two games are made by the same company anyway- the hell were you expecting?
