| Yeah this Nostalgia thread is meant for radiation and olden members alike. Share your good times.
Best times I had were on the very forest roleplay we did on Robynsvalley. It was a major change from the post apocalyptic survivor thing we had done in desert and instead was a sort of modern day mystery/fantasy adventure set in a remote Russian village. Maybe it was the fact that it was set near Chernobyl, or the fact that I find Siberia to be this giant spooky land mass full of awe, but every time I got on the server with Robynsvalley as the map I just couldn't help but feel weirded out in a sort of dreadful way. Though we didn't have many players, this sort of added to its eerie nature. What really made it grand was how well our vampires, or lamia, roleplayed. I remember one roleplay involving the mayor and all of his officials being turned into the undead and were placed under control of the the firstborne. I'd do it all again if I had the chance.
Second greatest time I had roleplaying was during our Space Roleplay where we were ordered to jump into the middle of a battle between an allied alien race and an enemy alien race in orbit around Zurianos cloaked to gather intelligence for our home nation the UTC. Everyone pulled it off so well.
Oh yeah and in the first Desert Roleplay when the COA came in. Everyone didn't know what the hell was going on since all the nations on Earth were supposed to be wiped out.

| In Desertia, I remember taming a sandworm, acquiring awesome armor and unleashing whoopass on Imperial soldiers, hunting ancient and powerful aliens, actually earning a living ICly killing people's characters as an assassin, and saving the planet at least once. Good times.
Then there was Phoenix RP. Phoenix RP was downright weird, but that was what made it good. It was basically a post-apocalyptic RP storyline, except it completely turned it upside down. The survivors were whisked away by portals to some faraway planet populated by literal killing machines and automated defenses. Then the aliens came. The only advantage the human survivors had were supernatural powers that came as a side-effect of the portal energies. There were several factions at play. It all sounds pretty crazy, but everyone RPed extremely well.

I thought you'd say something like "space hunter" but assassin ruined it.

| I was actually making PKs, not just DMing people. It was the closest thing to real assassin work you could get in an RP, and it went quite well.
As for "space hunters", I once RPed a deadly alien test subject that would single out and mindrape people, or kill them outright. Guess you could call that a space hunter.

| Second Munroe's, Desertia in its early days was incredibly fun. And, of course, I'm going to endorse PhoenixRP, being one of its co-founders . I'd lean toward PhoenixRP for better RP, but I had more memories with Desertia. Those were simpler times. RTRP, in its early days, was also pretty fun. Being the lone hero making friends and building alliances in the post-apoc desert of nevada was a blast. And then, I became the leader of the army of a bunch of pseudo-commies, and was just plain badass. The sequels weren't quite as fun, but they had their moments for me. Hm.. not much else in the realm of gmod rp, except some zombie rp's I privately held. Pat and Ruta know of those, probably. Those were fun . | |

Again, with Olden's history, never a smart thing to say.
