Seeing the effects first hand on those I care about, really puts the whole idea into perspective for me. And without dwelling too much into my personal life, I full heartedly hate everything that has to do with drugs and alcohol.

I have to agree with Zaku, seeing the long term effects of any drug is easy when it's someone close to you, and it's often scary or painful to see.

But I don't get why it bothers you that people on the internet - people you'll probably never meet - do it. People are free spirits; you can't try to deny them access to something 'because it makes you sad'. Most of us are intelligent teenagers (Or close enough), and if people want to experiment, I say go for it. If they're stupid about it, they'll hurt themselves, and possibly go to jail. If they're intelligent and sensible about it, they'll have a good time.

Some people will do drugs, and you might hear about it over the internet, but they wouldn't share the drugs with you. Deal with it.
