How I learned to stop worrying and love the Fire

Today dire news come from the north. And where else than from our Occitanian neighbours do they come, in this time of great distress?

Many of the Talibarian people have reported losing contact with their relatives inside the Occitanian border as soon as a few weeks ago. It was first disregarded as the letters not getting through due to an Occitanian lockdown. But so is not the case.
Further investigation into the matter has revealed that every man and woman of Talibarian descent have been slaughtered in cold blood. Their possessions taken by the Occitanian state, and their homes, livestock, pets and even their very own bodies have all been burned.

But what is probably the most troubling is that all the children seem to be missing. While many charred adult corpses have been found in massive piles and disgusting massgraves outside of towns and cities, there have not been a single sign of any child.
The only conclusion is that the children have all been kidnapped by the Occitanians, meanwhile their parents were burned to death.

This reporter hopes that this is all the blood that will be spilled, should the war come to our very homes.
