Seems a little ragtag, in my opinion.

The way they like turn into full animals from humans? It seems like you just made a story to string together some pictures.

But in all honesty, it's nice, but do we need it?

and in general, the race seems very restrictive and "specific". reading about their culture and society, i'd say this isn't the kind of race that would have individuals break off from the tribe and walk into surna and just start socialising with random people.

The pictures are all wildy out of place. Most of them seem like they're from different climates altogether. The picture of the chaos librarian from Warhammer makes absolutely no sense, and the final picture is what looks like either something taken from Redwall, or fanart of transformice.

EDIT: Okay now that, that is taken care of. I'll find a better pic for the prophet, also the pics I put are more for the characters than the areas they are in. Would you like me to MSPaint some of my own pictures instead?

Right, I skimmed over most of the comments due to the fact that I just woke up.
Thanks for quoting that for me, and the reason I focused on the furry cyber part is because it was the most commented thing, and Graley denied it purely for the reason that it is 'furry'.

I'm not sure I like this. Yes, yes, effort is always good, but this seems more like a culture than an actual race. From what I understand, they're humanoids who become so in-tune with nature they start to become animals. Animals belong to a whole different race altogether. So this entire race is all slowly starting to become animals? Eventually, they'd disappear, because they'd all become furry animals.

It's magic that started their turning, and that's the reason I said human (meant elf by the way) reproductive organs, so they race wouldn't die. Not because of furry cyber. Anyways, magic started the sudden evolution (Which is what it is) but now it occurs naturally to the race. Who and what they worship and what they do doesn't effect the 'Ascension' into their animal forms. It's just a choice they make, because they don't know any other gods exist, they left those gods behind when they went into the forests and now are completely devoted to Silvanus.

Elf and human reproductive organs are almost identical. That's why you see half-elves running around.

But anyways, the thought of Ascended Vystoupils reproducing skeeves me out. I'm not sure it's the sort of race I'd want added to Aeria.

No, I'm just worried that that's how it will be perceived, or worse, RPed. I'm sorry Thoro, but Olden used to have furries all over it. I personally don't want to open that door again.

I also don't think it's unique enough to be its own race. Humans or elves could theoretically give themselves similar traits to this race with the right rituals and beliefs. The one distinguishing feature of this race is that each member is becoming another race, a type of anthropomorphized animal.

What I would recommend, is instead of trying to make this an entire race, make lore about certain people who achieve "Ascension" and distance it from in-server RP. That is, if you're determined to make this a part of lore.

No, I'm not really determined. I just felt like trying to contribute to Olden some more, obviously failed. I guess we have enough races as it is anyways. Thanks to those who looked at this thing.

Well, in order to reproduce it's benefical for this race. For example, we have a couple that's deeply in love with each other. Now, if one turns into a bird and another turns into a wolf, there's no way they could have offspring and contribute to the continuation of the race unless they seeked out people who have ascended into similiar forms.

this as a race is a bad idea, but as a group i'd see it very much plausible.
a bunch of druids who want to defend nature. with their ultimate goal to turn into an animal, the perfect representation of having served nature well.
