Well, I was playing on my friends server the other day and we started talking about random stuff and he told me about this, so I thought I'd give it try; and I won't blab or try and make you strain your eyes on a wall of text, so I'll give a tiny list of different category's of things.

I'm afraid to say the community's in a bit of a dip right now due to some technical problems, but once we get our server back up and running, I'm sure life will pour right back into it.

Hey I'm Thoro. I don't RP that often around here anymore, I participate in quests and the odd things. I still like to maintain a connection so I like to make myself known to new comers, like anyone else on here who is active does. So hello and welcome.

As strange as it sounds, don't delve too deep into anything. Some of the lore is outdated in that section, it's best to ask Pat, myself, or another member for lore info. You shouldn't need it though unless you want to get into anything magical.

Alright, thanks again, I'm at the moment though just trying to decipher and pick out most useful things by measuring times of posts and the actual olden calenders and stuff, like you said nothings really coming up for me that isn't useful except magic, I noticed there's no lists of any exact magics, archetypes of it, or punishments, I've only found a few mentions of it and that's not very helpful, so any common magics or regular punishments or combinations of it would be much appreciated, thank you.

A really helpful thing, lore wise, would be to read character pages that are updated regularly, or posted by regulars to the forums. You can learn a lot there.

Yea, although it almost made me gurgle after accounting and doing the ratios for approved to failed, it was sad to see how people like to get reactions from the community by making poor, cliched, Mary-sue, overpowered--in retrospect-- laughable at best characters, such as these;

And I'm sorry for belittling those for I have no experience for this or form of trust yet but these are just..they didn't really seem to give them any thought, although some in the failed are quite nice, while others are just people wanting to see how it is to be able to run around, snap necks with force powers, and not get in trouble with it. But I digress, I will surely look at character pages and see the best ones; right now I'm leaning my character towards more the destructive and decisive powers, like fire, seeing as its fair used, easily beaten, environmental, useful, and the like; I read a lot and realized I should make this character like the first scoop of ice cream, its going to be tough and sweet at the same time, my character is going to have to build, not be, sorry for the wall of text, and thank you.

Yea, I agree, poor Pat with the Zayl character didn't even get the time of day for a judging, everyone was just kinda trolling him
But then again Zayl was my favorite character, with all the skills in magic and stuff, and especially the back story.

Zayl was created back in a time when the application process wasn't needed. That, and trolling Pat is a common theme on the forums, you'll figure that out eventually.
