Exactly, the Tau is a new race with a very small area of influence, while they have the most potential out of all the 40K factions out there, it's very possible they could be annihilated before they get anywhere.

I would argue that it's inevitable. Tau territory is being encroached on by not one, but two Tyranid Hive Tendrils, and even if the Tau somehow manage to repel the foe that nearly devoured the Imperium, by that time the Imperium will have declared them too great a threat to mankind to be allowed to live, and the Ultramarines will be called upon to destroy them. Since Matt Ward will be allowed to decide who wins, it's pretty obvious he'll choose Ultramarines, and the Tau Ethereals will mourn the day they dared defy their spiritual liege, Roboute Guilliman.

Just a heads-up: I'm going to be gone all of today and a good deal of tomorrow. Sorry for the late notice, but yeah. I'd appreciate it if you put the battle on hold, but if you must continue, ignore the Tyranids for now.

jesus christ guys shut up.
the relic is irrelevant. canon is irrelevant, in this instance. the relic was only there as some sort of reasoning for any race to show up. this battle would never happen in the 40k universe, or, it'd be INCREDIBLY unlikely to. i've said this already, this RP focusses on the actual massive battle mechanic without having to follow canon to the letter and only being able to include two forces.
b3serk i appreciate your input, and anyone in the forum is allowed to post in this thread regardless of whether they're actually involved in the RP, but really, why are you posting about tau when nobody's playing tau anyway and there's no issue to begin with?
Nice Tzeentch champion, but I thought you liked Nurgle.
That's a god damn Sorcerer.
Oh, my bad Gambit.... thank you for pointing that out, Just I did not know of Sorcerer's till now. Which is again why I am not participating in the RP anymore since I obviously do not have a good knowledge of much of any of the forces other then the Imperium, which even then I am still very new to. Hell after reading the first book and half of the second gaunts ghost books still do not know what the ships, locations or people look like.
