Celebrating the liberation of Surna, the Festival marks the end of an occupation that lasted over 50 years and a bloody revolt that claimed the lives of many. In honor of that dark time, Porter Lolus, a local watchman, will be recounting the stories of his grandfather, a veteran of the conflict. Returning again by popular demand, the Leyanaran Circus Troupe will be handling the festival decoration and providing plenty of games, including the ever popular 'Toss the Toddler'. Each win gets you one step closer to the Grand Prize! Come for food, drink, and prizes!
OOC: This is meant to be a low-stress, fun little event to celebrate olden's return (as well as the IC reasons). Ruta's set up a few fun festival games, including a gambling wheel. We'll be pulling together a little raffle based on rolls; Each win on any game gets you a raffle ticket. The raffle prizes go up from commemorative little trinkets to sacks of shillings to the as-of-yet secret grand prize. All games cost money, and we'd like to mark this as the start of using the ingame currency system to track your IC money. Just tab + right click someone to give them money. The event'll be set up in the lower square, near the gates. (I'd also like the Eytinge's to run a little food stand >_>)
