Biography
Spoiler:
Robyn was born daughter of a former slave who won his freedom in the gladiator battles, and a foot soldier of the Westerwald-Leoben army. Both being giants. She was raised as a strictly Occitanian child, and was enrolled into military school at the applicable age. Her parents were very distant and had been jaded by their experiences. Her father was a man that had became drunk with the glory of the gladiator battles, and was still fighting even after Robyn's birth. The Colosseums in this are thrived on despite the collapse of the empire. He had the fear of peaking his great life, and tumbling down into normality, which was worse than death for this glory hound. He was mostly an absentee father, but very much concerned about his daughter's future, and planning to control it.
Her mother was a retired foot soldier of the Occitanian army, who resented her husband, never home or paying any attention to her. She was more endowed in Occitanian lifestyles than her husband, and attempted to push that onto her daughter from a young age. Robyn very rarely saw another of her age, and often was excluded from play because of her size compared to humans her age. There were few children who wished to spend time with her in her earlier years. When she enrolled in the military academy, things changed for her however. Her peers were much more accepting than those previously, as they had been taught to form a brotherhood amongst themselves in class.
Robyn thought little of her extreme stature, and was able to act normally around these children. As she grew, the Occitanian propaganda was pounded into her, but she was very strong willed and stubborn, and didn't much pay attention to it. Her mother saw herself in her child, a stubborn individual. She didn't hate her heritage, she considered herself to be one of them, but she did not much buy into the whole "One, unified Occitan" sort of thing. When she was 15, her father died to a beast in the Colloseum. She was shocked at first, and went into a short bout of depression. But she quickly recovered from it, seeing as he was never really much a father to her. Her mother showed the same indifference, unsurprisingly, after his will gave half his money to a random woman Robyn's mother had never met or heard of.
In truth, the only reason she lived a cozy life was because of her father, and if it were not for his gladiator champion status, they would be poor. So that's how they turned out. They lost all their money, and were evicted from their giant-specialized manor into a dinky little tenement building. Living became much harder, it was like if a human had taken residence in a 5 foot tall box. She opened her eyes to the exploitation of her race by Occitanian loyalists, and that they carried on the tradition of treating other beings as lesser, either subtly or in slavery.
Time was nearing for her to graduate and move onto Officer's academy, where the real military aspects were drilled in. But the idea of taking orders and un-individuality did not excite her in the slightest. Her mother saw this and tried to convince her otherwise, but again, she didn't much care for what other people had to say about it. In her studies, she always heard the name Talibar. A place of many different races and creeds, where you were not either Occitanian or slave. Somewhere where you could be yourself. She dreamed of going there. So she planned on doing so. Her mother sensed her daughter becoming more distant in her studies and less interested, and implored her to atleast stay in the military for a while, that it might changer her mind. So she did, she joined the Confederacy's army and saw little combat for 2 years. It bored her to no end, and when she came to the realization that she would always be a pawn, being not only a woman but of different race, she abandoned the military illegally.
After traveling on her own since she was 21, the young giant experienced quite a bit of fighting. She had been taught by a special instructor how to handle groups of human attackers, and she retained some of this knowledge as she encountered bandits and robbers. Ever since she had first sparred with another giant in her school, she very much liked fighting. She drifted through Talibar acquiring a few temporary spots as a guard or bouncer or somethingorother. She also shaved her head, disliking her long hair getting in the way during a fight, or being used against her. She acquired many tiny scars on her hands and legs from fights, and the use of an axe.
Through drifting and travels, she eventually came upon Surna..

That picture of an axe.... looks really ornate for a "simple axe".

Hmm. Well, this might need confirming but- Occitan was split up into different nations following a devastating revolt. They would have abandoned the "supreme nationality" doctrine.
That feeling would only be present in the people living in the nations that were / are loyalists to the traditional Holy Occitanian Empire. Somehow, I feel like she'd get a little or a lot of shit for being a giant- seeing as whilst the government is accepting and new, the people's sentiments may still contain an undertone of hostility, or perhaps even racism.

The current Occitanian lore is in the pipeline, in the works. It's almost out, but this means your biography is of the old lore, set 200 years before our current timeframe. Obviously it's not your fault, considering we haven't posted it yet, but keep in mind you should keep your biography subject to change in the near future.

As a developer of Occitanian lore, I judge this is fine and in-keeping with the current lore. Even if it means nothing, I toss my community approval accept.

It does mean something. The very minimum for a character accept is 3 community accepts and 1 admin accept.

That picture is hideous.
I mean, look at that blue rag she's wearing. It doesn't even match her cat-head thing.
Spoiler:
Blitz is it same to assume Robyn has little to no combat training?

I'll try and make one tonight, if not by tomorrow morning. Any colors you prefer? Give me about two I can work with, I'm going to use a similar format I did with Martyn's page. (With a different style, of course)
