| How can a metal be evil? Besides the random oooh evil magic stuff.
Adamante is, from most sources, slightly magical, but only because it is incredibly hard.
My 2 cents make of it what you will.

My 2 cents make of it what you will. Think of it this way, just because it's made from shadow magic doesn't mean it's evil, it just means it is labeled as one because Shadow Magic is only usable by those who worship Shar, whom is an evil goddess.

| Adamantium IS diamond armor, actually. Atleast it is in the 3.5 DnD rules. |

This. I think they do something to it to make it more flexible though. Diamond is the hardest mineral, but also the most brittle, Like glass, if you has a solid sheet of adamant for a breastplate, it would probably shatter after one blow.

| Ask yourself this question, though.
Is this DnD?
Adamantine is a mix of many things. Diamond is one of the materials, but there are other ones.

It's hard to keep track, really. A bit more than half of the stuff in Olden is from neverwinter nights or some other DnD game. The rest are either WoW, completely made up, or inspired by real-life. |

| So just because it's based a large percentage on DnD, doesn't mean it's exactly like it.
Just saying.
Regardless, you -are- right in an aspect, Adamantine is made from a decent amount of diamond, but there's more than just diamond in it.

| When did Diamonds stick in metal. It must be inside the metal correct? | |

| Diamond can be melted, just like all other metals and rocks, and thus, it can be mixed with different kinds of steel and copper and stuff like that. |

| Though we may have a means of melting diamond in real life, technology in Olden is usually pretty archaic. Magic is probably used to combine the substances within adamantium, and get into a workable form. Once the weapon is made and the adamantium tempered, it's nearly indestructible.
I would say Olden is built upon a DnD foundation but full of added-on/modified plot elements and features.
