Baator
God of Slaughter, Demons, and The Nine Hells

Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Played By: Drakonnan

[You stand in a realm of pain, conflict, and destruction. You cannot see that which is going on around you, but you can feel it's essence.. at least, that's all you can feel for now. Ahead of you stands a tall armored man, jet black hair as black as the sky above you; yet his skin the only thing pale in this forsaken realm. A faint devilish smirk plays on his face, and you see pure maliciousness and amusement in it. You know your death is at hand, and it will not be over quick.]

History, Information, and Relationships:
Originally, Baator was a lesser deity who was a personal servant to the God of Hell, Sylornath. Baator was also put to this low state along with many other lesser gods, including Bane. Baator himself was conceived to be the chief Lieutenant to Sylornath, and marshal of his hellish armies. He stood as a figure of awe and dread even in his uninspiring state of lesser-godhood. A tall male adorned in black armor, small jagged spikes rising from his shoulder plates. A flowing black cloak as dark as ash lavished his back, complemented by his long black hair and unearthly pale flesh. He stood as a symbol of fear among the forces of Hell, but was still oppressed by Sylornath himself. This was until the God Wars occurred, in which Good and Evil clashed in a struggle that broke into many realms of the crystal sphere. Personally leading Hells armies, Baator was bent on conquering all that stood to challenge his dark master. Although his tactical mind and vast armies proved affective, the forces of good were to numerous for Baator to contend with and he was pushed back to the gates of Hell itself. Here in a final stand, Sylornath was slain and the Hell's dark master no more. The God Wars ended, and the demons were left to rebuild. But it was soon that a power struggle broke out, and caused a civil war. On one side, Baator intended to take the throne as Demon King. On the other, Bane intended to steal it away. The civil war ended with Baator claiming right over Hell, pushing Bane out to the lesser realms which he later claimed as his own. The Dreadrealms.

Under Baator, Hell was no longer a collective surface, but split into nine separate plains of different degrees of suffering and different demons. Governing these realms from his own tenth realm, that which was the original realm of Hell; Baator instated nine lesser-god's who sided with Baator in the civil war to rule over these realms. Still answering to him however, Baator now reigns as a major god and is seen as the figurehead of natural evil in Oldenland. Baator himself has a rivalry with Bane, the two always seeking to overcome the others realm to seed themselves fully in power. Naturally, Baator is also mortal enemies with Tyr and any other God of good alignment.

Dogma:
Evil is the purest form of raw energy in existence. It brings power, pleasure, fulfillment, and the ability to shape the world around you through deception or force. But only through the dark lord Baator, can you obtain these insatiably addicting blessings. Declare your never-ending loyalty to the dark lord, and praise his name above all others. Spread the terror of his being through mortals, and put them to the slaughter. Pillage, raid, plunder, and massacre your way through the world alone or in the company of followers. When not spreading Baator's name through such acts, live your life to the fullest in his name. Embrace your human urges, as they are natural instinct for a reason. Engage in fights when the urge presents itself, lie politely merely out of spite, fill your salaciousness for your preferred gender, and satisfy your greed for wealth and infamy. The world is at your finger tips. Embrace the darker side of life and instinct, and march across the mortal plain in dark glory in the name of your dark lord. Declare your loyalty, and all the world has to offer can be yours.
