Introduction / History:
In the beginning of time, Kelemvor, God of Death and The Dead, created off his own form, a new being that would assist in caretaking the souls of the Dead to rightful places. This demons very appearance, would cause Tyr to shudder, or Talos to cower. For the power of this Demon, was the equal to that of a God. Some say that while this Demon was merely a hatch off of Kelemvor, it could possibly be more so him, in a different form. In time, the Demon came to be known in legends, under the name that would soon haunt the dreams of even the bravest of Paladins. It came to be known, as Deaths Shadow.

The Demon lurked in the shadows, constantly lingering, as if waiting for Death to take place, so it could obtain the soul to guide it. However, while The Shadow did its duty's as told by Kelemvor, for a long time without question, it slowly came to the realization that it was in equal power to its master. If it so chose, it could BECOME a God. Testing its powers, The Shadow created a Realm for itself. This Realm, existed beyond the reach of mere mortals, and feared to be treaded in by even Gods. The influence and power here was so great, that if a God were to ever enter, they could be permanently killed in this Realm.

The Realm was forged into what mortals could call a Hell. The terrain was black and charred, the sky full of thick clouds that would block out the sun, if there even was one. Here, Deaths Shadow began to test his power over life and death, and began to intercept souls on their way to their rightful place, dragging them into his world. Here, he twisted and deformed their bodies, adding and replacing parts, turning them into his own mindless slaves... a new breed of Demon. The Realm began to be patrolled by these lifeless corpses, while the souls of the stolen bodies would be consumed by The Shadow, giving it more strength and forever burning in the hells of its stomach. Chaos reigned supreme in The Shadows world, and because of this, it came to be known as... The Realm of Turmoil.

Years and years passed, The Shadow creating over 9,000 Demons, that would become his army to consume all of Oldenland. The Shadow had no other desire, then to cause chaos and death for it to relish and enjoy. However, Kelemvor saw what his creation was doing and quickly managed to place a seal over The Realm of Turmoil. Souls were still being plucked into The Realm, but no God dared to get in the way of The Shadow. Kelemvor himself stayed clear, as he knew that his creation could very well destroy him. All the souls he consumed and all the Demons he created have made him one of the most powerful beings to date.

The Shadow eventually, decided it was time to invade, and used a weapon he created to try and open a rift into Oldenland. This weapon had no form, and was purely magic. It was simply called, 'The Artifact'. The Shadow began to manipulate its power, toying with it and creating a rift into our world. It widened extremely, enough to unleash his whole army and overrun Oldenland in mere hours. However, before he could do so, The Artifact seemed to act on its own, slipping through the rift into Oldenland, but leaving The Shadow and his army in The Realm. After making it to our world however, it split into an unknown amount of pieces and scattered across the world, taking forms that nobody would suspect.

Although the invasion was postponed, news leaked into Oldenland and fear spread. Legends were formed of Deaths Shadow and it was prophesied that if The Realms army came through, and was not stopped, the Apocalypse would be brought about and no God... not even Ao, could stop it. The Realm of Turmoil continued to produce more Demons and every so often, made a small portal to do small raids on Oldenland, to gather more souls for their demonic master. This army, which grew rapidly, came to be known as, 'The Legion of Turmoil.' The Legion has grown considerably and at this present point, The Shadow as accumulated over 12,000 Demons to his cause and still continues to grow. Not one God could be prayed to, for help against this force.

The Legion Of Turmoil:

Deaths Shadow, Master of The Realm Of Turmoil, Controller Of Death, And Demonic God:
The Realm of Turmoil Death2qx4
Deaths Shadow, is the Controller of The Realm Of Turmoil, and the Leader of the Legion. Created by Kelemvor, to assist him in the herding of deceased souls, The Shadow became more and more aware of its true power and began to steal souls to add to its own strength, turning their bodies into Demonic Soldiers for his Legion. As a last resort to contain The Shadow, Kelemvor sealed him away in his Realm, banished from all other realms. The Shadow is one of the most powerful Demons / Entity's to ever exist, containing enough power to destroy a God, or even combat Ao himself. Due to this, even the most powerful of Gods fear him, and his Legion. He has been attempting to break into Oldenland for many years and has finally gotten links through a Cult dedicated to his worship, in Oldenland. With their help, he plans to enter Oldenland with his Legion in tow and bring about the apocalypse, and destroy all the Gods, and slowly take over -every- Realm in existence.

Commander:
The Realm of Turmoil Nemesis_render
Commanders are the ones who lead raids on Oldenland. Created from several corpses being fused together, to make extra muscles, height and bone density. The Commanders stand at 9 Feet Tall, and have enough strength to break open Stygian Armor. If one were to appear in Oldenland, the safest route to take, would be to attack it from a distance and in groups. Commanders are without a doubt, one of the most intelligent of all Legion creatures, and by far the most deadly.

Bruiser:
The Realm of Turmoil Silent_hill_v_monster_siam
Bruisers are the heavy infantry of The Legion. These are created from melding the body's of a male and female, the limbs of both, protruding out in diffrent spots for diffrent purposes, if none at all. When you come face to face with these things, be extremely careful. They sometimes serve as bodyguards for Commanders, or lead attacks in their place. Unlike Commanders however, Bruisers are dumb and are all brawn. Dont think them easy to fool though. They will easily track you by smell, and mash every bone in your body with one arm.

Fiend:
The Realm of Turmoil Jericho
Fiends are the primary infantry of the Legion Of Turmoil. Once human corpses, now melded with metal, and with their hands replaced with blades. Although they are easy to pick off at a range, be careful in close combat. They are extremely quick, and quite strong for their appearance. Their blades are vampiric blades, designed to make whatever wound thats made continue to bleed and only able to be healed by advanced magic. Fiends are typically the first to arrive in raids and will probably be the only thing you see come out, due to the blade they like to ram through peoples skulls.

Stalker:
The Realm of Turmoil LICKER
Stalkers are the creatures that creep around in many dark caves, around Oldenland. Unlike other Realm Of Turmoil Demons, many of them managed to slip through into Oldenland, when The Artifact did, and stay. They often stick to dark areas, and creep in the shadows, waiting to whip out their tounge which can stretch up to 15 ft, and reel in any poor soul that gets caught. Despite the apparent lack of eyes, they can see quite perfectly and even seem to have the ability to see in the dark.

Vulture:
The Realm of Turmoil 026c
Vultures are named after the bird, native to Desert environments, due to how they soar in the air, swooping down only to eat... except they don't focus solely on dead prey. Created from deformed human corpses, with crudely made flesh wings and elogated heads that appear to be made of worms or maggots, the Vultures are not the best thing to see flying over your home. The chance of them popping into town may be slim, but when they do, make sure your prepared to shoot them out of the sky.
