Tyr
God of Justice.

Alignment: Lawful Good

[Awash in soft golden light, he stands, clothed in silver-grey robes, the ends unsullied with even a speck of dirt. In one hand he holds a gleaming sword; in the other, silver scales that ever so gently slip in either direction. Behind him spread immaculate wings, as bright as the sun; and from the dark confines of his hood you detect an unrelenting steely gaze. As he fades into the quiet mist, you ponder what the Even-Handed has decreed.]

History, Information and Relationships of the God: Tyr is the favored son of the Firstborn Kossuth, The Cleansing Flame. Throughout all his existence, Tyr has remained fiercely loyal to both his father and those he has allied himself with. Though Tyr is and always has been a Greater Power, it is only with the advent of the mortal realm that Tyr has arisen to true eminence, with the newly fallible mortal elves flocking to his service; since then Tyr has been one of the most eminent Gods of the sphere, rivaling even his father in power and influence. Tyr is a chief member of the Aerian Pact as well as the architect of the Concord, an allegiance and vow between Tyr, Kossuth, several lesser and intermediate Gods, and their estranged servants, the Elves. Said vow was sealed with the creation of a third Weave, one that emanated purely from the Concord's realms, known to the Elves as the "Weave of the Mandate". Tyr was the deity that appeared to King Aldric Jitan, later known as Lord Rakkis, and compelled him to unite the strewn kingdoms of Talibar and enter the God War in his service. It was Tyr who, aided by his father, led the armies of light to Hell's gates and slew the Lord of Hell, Sylornath, in a climactic dual at the end of the legendary conflict and again Tyr who, at the end of Cyric's infamous reign of darkness, led the efforts in imprisoning the Mad-God within his own realm.

However, Tyr soon knew despair as, in an unprecedented turn of events, he was struck down and subsequently imprisoned within the Black Pyramid by one his own followers, a general that had served under him during the God Wars-- The mortal, Inarius. Tyr was then forced to watch, in silent agony, as Inarius, who quickly renamed himself "The Prophet", spread a mockery of his teachings throughout Talibar, abusing the God's powers for his own petty grievances.

Nearly an eon passed before he was released when, in an ironic turn of events, Inarius was slain by the mortal Thorn Razel, who wore Otherworld-Imbuned Stygian.

Since his release, Tyr has reaffirmed his place in both the Aerian Pact and the Concord, quickly making his intentions clear; to mend his corrupted order in Talibar. Tyr has found himself weak since the end of his imprisonment, as a result of the still-present corruption in matters regarding his worship in Talibar.

Before the founding of the Concord, Tyr resided in the Realm of Steady Judgment; afterwards, many deities that swore allegiance to the Concord merged their realms with Tyr's, forcing Tyr to re-consolidate the realm into "The House of the Concord", or, "Celestia". Those deities that resided in his realm include the intermediate powers Helm, Torm, Ilmater and Tempus.

Despite the conditions of his liberation, Tyr once again finds himself opposed to Bane, Lord of Tyranny, their ideologies being so opposed as they are. Tyr holds a personal abhorrence for Cyric, both for the Mad-God's methods and their prior relationships, Cyric having stolen several of the aspects of evil Gods during the God War, thus rending his victories moot, as well as tricking Tyr into a duel with Helm, whom Tyr had thought corrupted, which very nearly ended in Helm's doom. Tyr is naturally opposed to Baator, Shar, and the other miscellaneous servants of darkness. Other than his allegiance among the Concord, Tyr remains close to his father, Kossuth, and Lathander, and remains on good terms with every other god of the Aerian Pact.
