For the past several days, several gruesome deaths have occurred in and around Surna. The Guard has just announced that the most probable cause of these deaths is murder. At first glance, the victims appear to have suffered a fatal animal attack. They are mutilated, clawed, and mostly eaten. However, when bodies were found inside buildings in Surna, it was concluded by investigators that these deaths are deliberate attacks against Surna's population. These murders lack any known pattern, and it is unknown who or what perpetrated them, and how. Disturbingly, there have even been attacks in locked prison cells in Surna's dungeons, which would suggest the murderer is someone working for the Guard. Unfortunately, there simply is not enough evidence or information available to make any accusations... yet. The Guard's official statement is that they are working as hard as possible to solve these murders quickly and efficiently.
