I got no ideas, but let's do an event this weekend and have some fun!

The RP is horribly mundane, NOTHING ever happens. It's really anyone's fault, just a lack of any actual plot. There HAS to be more stuff to do than sit around the bar and discuss the weather all day. P:

Also, I've been talking to Pat about some event ideas, so stay tuned.

If the trial, then I suppose we must determine a good time slot. I'm probably gonna be hanging with my Friends Friday night, and on Saturday I'll probably be gone for a little talking with my recruiter.

Someone finds a map purporting to lead to El Dorado.

In all seriousness, I'll throw a real one out.

Slavers from Sida, having recently had trouble transporting slaves across mountains, decide that they'll make an attempt to transport them via sea. They manage to build a hardy slaving vessel, and begin to make their way up and around the cape of Sarkun, raiding coastal towns and taking slaves along the way.

Eventually, they decide to hit one more town before calling it quits, and returning to Sida. In the dead of night, they load up various rowboats and sail upriver, heading towards a small town known as Surna. They manage to get away with three or four people, taking them back to the ship and running for it, the alert going out a fraction too late. When the Empire realises what's happened, it opts to simply forget it. No point angering Sida by attacking it to get the slaves - it's foolish, and too far. Let bygones be bygones.

Some people disagree, particularly the residents of Surna. They make the call to take a boat and sail upriver, see if they can pick up the slavers scent. Out at sea, heavy rain and storms force the slavers to take refuge in a small desert area, while the Surnans find out just where they went.

Surnans dock, and prepare to attack the slavers' camp, freeing whoever they can.

AWESOME.

Sounds like a plan.

Buttes is good, but some kind of island map is also needed, if only for a place to rest 'overnight'.

I'd say Saari, it looks better than the other to(To me, at least).

I do like the ball idea, and if we were to have one I think it should be a Masquerade, though, all in all, I can assume--and possibly be correct while doing so--that someone will either be killed, or hurt to the point of near death. Or many will be injured badly. (Our more formal events seem to attract the audience of violence, they must be too 'peaceful' for some of our more chaotic patrons.)
