The Legion of T'Ack'Mul
Spoiler:
"Brute force dictates peace, throughout our history it is how we have kept ourselves unified." -- Overlord Pau'Nma
The Legion of T'Ack'Mul is a work-aholic, expansion-crazy, and assertive race of 9-foot Crustacean beings. Being keen to planets full of large seas, and wet swampy areas, they usually keep themselves to those, mining the ocean's goods. But they can live on land, their movements are much more sluggish and their shells become hard to move in when baked in the sun. Desert planets are an absolutely no for this species, as withering heat in the sunlight kills them much faster than any other humanoid being. They build only very large cities underwater, and small above ground water-dome cities. They possess formidable cyborg technology. Do not even subtly provoke this empire, they're territorial, quick to anger, and die-hard fanatics since birth.
Politics Political Structure: They are lead by the Overlord, who resides in the deepest, largest city on the capital planet of Krkk'Za. Strong Influence: The word of the Overlord, and the Light Bringers. Popular Issue: The Aturor. Stability: There is a die hard loyalty in almost every T'Ack'Mul, but there are a few terrorists who see behind the ridiculous dictatorship. Personal Freedoms: Limited, obviously limited to anyone from a free media/freedom of a free empire, everything is censored, and all credit in anything you see on T'Ack'Mul media, sports, whatever, goes to the Overlord and/or the Light Bringers. Scandals: The 697 incident. Foreign Relations: They keep a "shelled curtain" around the eyes of their neighbors to keep their governments ignorant of the dictatorship and brainwash that goes on in their society, but it's a rising rumor of such. If governments were to investigate this somehow, their media would be a dead give-away.
Economy Main Export: Beautiful coral arrangements, rock-hard ship building materials, exotic seafood. Main Import: Water purifying technology, energy resources/fuels. Technology Focus: Cyborg technology, for both colonization and military purposes, currently experimental and only a few high ranking units own them. Trade: Open to all. Strength: Great. Wealth: Large.
Ecology Planets Spanned: 3, including the 3 watery moons around the capital. Preferred Climate: Swamps, tropical rainforests, river plains, temperate rainforests, ocean. Oceans: Large and expansive. Mountains: The only mountains are the vast underwater ones, but on mainland, next to none. Wilderness: 70% Wild Animals: Bountiful, effective preservation projects. Natural Resources: 2 planets with major resources in water, the rest have them on-land, which has difficulty exploiting. Highly Values: Total dedication to the Overlord, service in the Military, mining, factories, or farms. Known For: Stoic and aggressive politics. Popular Entertainment: Gambling/Sports/Public executions. Respected Profession: Hard working miners, military, factory workers, farmers. Discrimination: None. Major Taboo: Speaking against the Legion. Major Social Ill: Total dedication, no free thought of "Why am I doing this for -that- stupid crab on the throne?" or "I don't give a shit about what the light-bulbs think", mostly because those crabs are executed. Appearance - Males: 8-9 foot armored monsters, the older they get, the larger they grow and the the thicker their shell gets. They also grow 4 extra appendages at the torso area around after 50. Appearance - Females: 6-7 foot humanoid-looking creatures. They are almost a separate race from the males, so it seems. But females have a more humanoid figure, with the same facial structure as the males. Their bodies are made of a thinner, more flexible skin, that constantly makes mucus over the thin shell. Because of this, females stand a bit better in dryer conditions, which is why more and more T'Ack'Mul females are moving into mainland territories of colonies to work for government owned mining establishments.
Military Strength: Reformed, large, and strong navy and army. Focus: Hunting down the Aturor. Main Unit: It's brutal, merciless, and furious soldiers, conscripted at the millions. Soldiers: 3 million. Main Use: Defensive operations, hunting down the Aturor. Rank: Earned through number of successful battles in, an identifiable body part of a high ranking enemy, and can challenge higher to a battle to the death to take their position.
Normal, non dyed shells with uniform armor. - Grunts. Normal shells with red dye strikes through them, uniform armor. - Upper ranking soldiers, the more strikes, the more rank. Red Shells, uniform armor. - Officers. Blue Shells, uniform armor. - Navy. Yellow Shells, uniform fabrics. - Medical or science personnel. Crimson shells, blue shoulder cape. - High ranking Army. Brown shells, suede black shoulder cape - High ranking Navy.
Uniform armor is more for looking good and organized rather than protective plating, it really can't do much to stop anything.
Religion Type: The Overlord is "reincarnation of the Lights" so anything he says goes, the Light-Bringers are the holiest priest council. Focus: All for the Overlord. Worship: Mandatory.
Population Population: 22 billion, in the watery 2 planets and 3 moons. Urban: 70% Rural: 30% Literacy Rate: 86%
Gender Ratio: 1.05 male/female Fertility Rate: 10.7 Life Expectancy: Average - 90. Military - 70 years Workers - 80 years Business owners, religious figures, bureaucrats, and high ranked military - 110.
Extra Info: Language: Sounds like Poggle the Lesser's line from Star Wars: The Clone wars, or the "Prawns" from District 9, they can also learn other languages, but it strains them to use only their complex voice box in communication, restraining themselves from natural clicks and grunts. Cities: Think of a very high tech Rapture, only the insides are filled with water, and there's not much need for connected walkways. Usually, the deeper the city, the better it thrives.
Status with other Empires.
Who is the Legion friends with, and who do they want dead?
Spoiler:
The Validus Sovereignty - No recorded contact. The Sewonian Empire - Neutral, high tensions. The Qetësi - Neutral. The Aturor - Must be destroyed. The Kohn Alliance - Neutral, high tensions. The Federations of Independent Systems - War, death to the infidels! The Turnal Alliance - Neutral. The Nagashi Corporation - Alliance. The Guild of Scavengers - Neutral, trade partner. Cheneys Empire - Alliance.
The 9 mandates of The Lights.
What the T'Ack'Muls very instincts and actions are based off of.
Spoiler:
1. Honor from the Lights is the most honorable thing a T'Ack'Mul can achieve, it usually involves extreme sacrifice in order to kill infidels of the Dark. 2. Avoid the Darkness, it will bring you an evil and sorrowful life. 3. Destroy the Darkness, it is said that if the Darkness is let alone to grow, the End of Days will come. The Darkness lives in anything that goes against the will of the T'Ack'Mul, or dares to challenge the mighty Legion. 4. Sea-faring races are the T'Ack'Mul's closest allies. 5. The Deepest Oceans, are the holiest oceans. 6. Surrendering to the Darkness will cast the shame of Darkness over your relatives and corrupt them slowly. 7. The Overlord is the reincarnation of the Lights, the Light-Bringers are the most honorable of priests. 8. Only through force may calm and peaceful times come. 9. The Lights will be revealed to you, only in death as a Follower of the Lights or honorable death for The Lights.
Planet and Colony Info.
What planets the T'Ack'Mul own.
Spoiler:
Krkk'Za, Level 1 Planet: Homeworld of T'Ack'Mul, wonderful and large expansive seas, holding many minerals. The land is easily inhabited, as it is a marshland all about. Home to the Fleet's HQ, the large orbiting space station/ship yard. -Moons. Kravnnk, Level 1 Moon: Industrialized moon, also very watery, not alot of resources but good spot for factories. Where 40% of mass production is done. Innmra, Level 2 Moon: A planet of relatively same sized water and mainland, colder climate. Not a real big specific role, just all around mining, production, etc. Also holds some important military research bases. Zotew, Level 2 Moon: The number one producer of fuel from the T'Ack'Mul, but seeing as it's not alot, it's becoming a forge planet slowly. Another waterball.
Y'kri, level 2 planet: A mostly tropical planet, with normal sized seas. Contains minerals like the homeworld. -Asteroid Belt: No resources, just a belt.
Planet 697, level 2 planet "Mmerkrotrz": A tropical jungle planet with fairly large seas, named after the prophet who was the first reincarnation of The Lights, and brought the T'Ack'Mul into a Legion a millenia ago. Repaired ecosystem, tourist/trade centers.
Yur'Zetev, level 2 planet: Mostly desert mainland, with rich resources on mainland, some in the water. Not yet established, but in system. The space around the planet is claimed by The Legion, it contains probes to detect other space ships.
Makrrt, Level 2 planet: Has lush plains etc on land, and large oceans. Resources on mainland. Not yet established, but in system. The space around the planet is claimed by The Legion, it contains probes to detect other space ships.
Military Tech and Info.
The info on all T'Ack'Mul current military units and weapons. Ground units.
Spoiler:
The T'Ack'Mul infantry are trained to be ultimately brutal and to never give into fear. The only armor they possess is the one they have had since birth, and their uniform armor, which is barely defendable against anything. The T'Ack'Mul army is 60% melee combat, and 40% conventional firearm/pulse weapons.
Melee Weapons --
The claw: T'Ack'Mul carry huge, solid, snapping claws. The newest ranks are taught only to use their claws, and are not assigned other melee weapons until they have proven themselves.
LM-12 Battlesword: The LG-12 Battlesword is the most widespread melee weapon, attached to the dominant appendages of the claw(s), acts as a sturdy cutting weapon, there are many variations of this found in the armies. http://shannaro.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/swords-1.jpg
LM-177 Chained Melee Weapon "Steel Teeth": The LG-177 CML is another traditional weapon, effectively, a military grade chainsaw that can cut through metal, attached to the dominant appendages of the claw(s). Is also modified greately like the LG-12. http://www.ateliers-nemesis.com/images/armes/divers/chain-sword.jpg
LGRD-277 Armor Penetrating Flamethrower "Lava Spewer": The LGRS-277 is regarded as one of the most dangerous close range weapons in the T'Ack'Mul melee arsenal, for both sides. Slowing down the user greatly, they must wear a huge containment pack over their backplates, and a hose goes over their right claw, down over the dominant appendage where the ignition pump is. The smaller appendage activates the burst of what is described as "Hot-as-a-star steel corroding liquid flame." The major flaw is the large size, and the delicate armor of the pack. If the pack is breached, it will reach an explosive pressure volume in seconds, exploding in a ball of lava-hot burning liquid over a radius of 5 meters.
Ranged Weapons--
LG-012 Pulse Assault Rifle: Issued to warriors of tens of campaigns, the LG-012 assault pulse rifle fires pulse rounds at an extremely fast rate, not being too focused on accuracy as the T'Ack'Mul take their battles face to face. It does not reload, as younger males don't have the 4 extra arms on their stomachs to help them with such a thing, it only recharges. It can fire two fast full magazines, but the user must wait 5 minutes until it can be used again, it is expected the user can hold himself off until the assault rifle recharges from it's overheat. http://starwarsrpg.pettycomp.net/Images/Rifle1.JPG
LG-013 Pulse Machine Gun: Carrying twice as many pulse charge cells as the pulse assault rifle, being extremely accurate, and having a deadly firing rite of 2000 rounds per minute, it is the heaviest infantry pulse suppression weapon in the Legion's arsenal.
LG-0642 Rocket Launcher: Attached to the whole dominant arm of the T'Ack'Mul soldier, it has a magazine of 5 rockets, and is one of the few weapons a normal under 50 T'Ack'Mul can reload himself. The ammo pack on the back allows them to reload the magazines themselves. https://2img.net/h/i2.photobucket.com/albums/y8/J-link/rl.jpg
LG-834 Shotgun: The LG-834 shotgun is used by 50+ year old veterans, as only their smaller more dexterity appendages can load it, it fires a heavy slug. It is an extremely inaccurate, dirty, and jamming prone gun. https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img114/9834/highpoly.jpg
LG-663 Machine Gun "Hole Puncher":The LG-663 Machine Gun is popular among the 50+ year old veteran soldiers, as their newly grown arms can help them reload, while others are stuck to support-reload drones and other T'Ack'Mul. The LG-663 is mounted along the dominant claw, firing huge, armor piercing rounds at a slow 300 rounds per second. It's deadly when at close range, but is one of the more accurate ranged weapons of the Legion's army. tp://darthmojo.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/cylon_machinegun.jpg
LGRS-1 Long-Range Engagement Rifle: The LGRS-1 L-RER is basically a sniper. Using the lens capabilities of their LM-7 drones, and an accurate version of the LG-012 pusle rifle, research and development has created the race's first sniper. It is used by elite units in the T'Ack'Mul, and the ARADs.
Vehicles-- LM-7 Assisting Battle Drone: The LM-7 ABD is a desk-size self propelled disc that has many roles. It can go to heights of 500 feet and bring back information to Legion generals. It can use it's arms to help reload weapons the soldiers can't otherwise do themselves. It has dual underbarrel chainguns hidden inside it, and can be deployed at word. http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/6/5152/40892.jpg
LGR-77 Heavy Support Drone: The LGR-77 HSD is a massive robot killer. It has 4 legs, and 2 arms mounted with pulse machineguns. It's armor is incredibly thick, and hard to penetrate. However, it is a slow mover and the back of it's legs are vulnerable. https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img517/3313/crabtank.jpg
LG-1 Heavy Saturation Unit "Tsunami": The LG-1 HSU is the standard artillery weapon of the Legion's military forces. It fires a 150mm round that can devastate the battlefield, because of this heavy round it must be pulled fairly close to the battle, just a click or two away from the fighting. It utilizes propulsion systems under it's hull, and it can float on water as well as travel under it. The T'Ack'Mul Generals like to see these mass produced, as their destruction gives them a hard on. It uses T'Ack'Mul computing technology, and is fairly easy to use. http://www.3drt.com/3dm/hov-tanks/ht-06_02.jpg
LM-165 Titan Support Vehicle "Titan/ The Snail": The Titan is a 30 meter long, 20 meter across moving bunker. It carries no weapons, except for 2 computer operated pulse cannons on either side. It's not meant for combat, as it's top speed is 10 MPH. It's a support vehicle, a bunker on treads. It takes alot of firepower to crack it, and is often used to beef up defensive points. It's filled with water in every room except the entry bay. It's roles include, strategical defense point, forward HQs, restock/supply vehicles, repair bays, medical bays, etc. http://www.vegatransports.com.au/starwars/OTC/sandcrawler_arrives.jpg
LM-105 Walker Tank: The LM-105 is a technological genius. Developed from the LM-52 years ago, it has been given 6 legs instead of 4. The legs are more armored than it's predecessor, have electromagnets and rock climbing picks on their feet. The engine is better, allowing the LM-105 to run across battlefields instead of walk there. It's cannon's targeting and reloading systems have been updated, improved hellfire missiles that pack a more explosive punch, and 2 pulse machineguns on the hull. The armor and hull is still an overall medium thickness/protection. http://www.starshipmodeler.com/mecha/rc_val3.jpg
LGRD-122 Crustacean Battle Suit - A 20 foot, hulking, slow suit, in the resemblance of a T'Ack'Mul. Plated in gleaming white armor, and carrying many weapons, there are only 7,000 in the whole military. It can use fairly high tech and top secret weapons just recently made by Research and Development. The first notable weapon would be the claws. They can literally take on an armored unit with it's claws alone. On the left claw is a more contained and safer version of the LGRD-277 flamethrower. On the right, there is a massive shotgun-like mechanism, that fires slugs. It's shoulder plates are actually two LM-7 ABDs that can provide reconnaissance and target alerts on it's HUD. On the back is an experimental jetpack, that can only be used in space or low gravity planets. http://www.eastern-empire.com/images/tau_models/elite/urban_suit.jpg
LGRD-512 Advanced Robotic Assassin Drone - The LGRD-512 ARAD is highly top secret, an estimated number of 100,000 have been produced, their weapons systems are supposedly extremely advanced and top secret. They resemble a T'Ack'Mul female's structure.
The scientists at Research and Development tested their versions of the ARAD on their own kind, not with weapons, but hand to hand. Criminals, conspirators, pirates, and terrorists were put to the challenge, the final version of the ARAD being able to single out weak points accordingly and execute the appropriate attack move to cripple the user.
It's also very proficient in firearm weapons. Long-range fighting with a rifle is a confusing concept for your average T'Ack'Mul soldier, but the ARAD can efficiently use the experimental pulse rifle sniper. It can use any weapon you put it it's hand. The one thing that makes the ARAD a great VIP bodyguard is it's heightened sense of detection and response times. If anything were to happen, the ARAD's highly advanced AI would automatically respond accordingly.
Legion Cybernetic Enhancements Development - The Hhuk-Mnatal experiment:
The Hhuk-Mnatal is a huge, carnivorous, amphibious crustacean creature, it is a distant distant distant relative of T'Ack'Mul, as with apes are to humans. They were once worshiped as Gods in pre-civilized Krkk'Za, their planet of origin, being unable to stop with any uncivilized weapons. Their black exoskeletons are near impossible to destroy with most weaponry, it takes heavy firepower to take one down.
The newly formed Legion Cybernetic Enhancements Development division of research and development has been looking for prime vicious instinctual animals to incorporate into military forces. The Hhuk-Mnatal came to mind. Legion wildlife officials picked out and marked several weaker Hhuk-Mnatal males which could not mate with GPS scanners, the Legion's military sedated and transported the animals with the use of LNA-5 transport ships. Taken to the LGCED headquarters, they begun firstly experiments on brainwave manipulation.
Inspired from the old legend of a demi-god T'Ack'Mul who apparently had tamed the untamable, a Hhuk-Mnatal, the LGCED began to disect Hhuk-Mnatal's brains while they were still alive, implanting several cyborg enhancements that would most likely allow the most effective control. Some 36% percent of the Hhuk-Mnatal operated on died, 25% went into an unending uncontrollable rage with their implants, and had to be killed, 20 percent had nervous system malfunctions and seizures, and 19% were able to be controlled via computer uplink accordingly.
These 19 percent were then routed out for the most effective cybernetic brain implant, but when they did find the most effective brain control implant, it did not work well enough. Orders were taking several minutes, sometimes hours to receive, the Hhuk-Mnatal experiments would idle about in their containment unit until 2 hours later it would perform the test order. Brain manipulation became a sideproject, as the scientific team began to work on armaments. The Hhuk-Matal was modified to be given --
A small holding area for 4 LM-7 probes that would give the controller of the Hhuk-Mnatal a better view of the battlefield and the situation around it. 2 heavy LG-013 heavy pulse machineguns with larger firing cells than it's original model, mounted under the jaw.
Once the armaments were made and the surgery was proven successful for Hhuk-Mnatal survival, the LGCED continued to work on brain manipulation, although being a leader in cyborg enhancements, the technology just doesn't cut it quite yet.. http://www.scene-stealers.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/starshiptroopers1.jpg
50 years later, the Hhuk-Mnatal project is complete, the programs and technology in cybernetics further enough to make the unit effective in combat.
--Experimental/Elite Units--
"The Sons of the Lights" - "They are the greatest force known to crustacean-kind, capable of complete destruction and chaos in the name of the Legion. They are our elite protectors and keepers, in the name of the Lights they shall guard us.."
This legendary elite fighting force is taken from the highest of priests and military officials when they are just eggs, and born into fighting and combat. If you thought the general populace was brainwashed, check out these guys. They're made into -the- super soldier. They are heavily augmented with the T'Ack'Mul's peak of cyborg technology, giving them many assets that the normal soldier does not possess. They are rarely deployed and almost half of them are on palace duty, guarding the huge capital building that is the Overlord's home.
Their weapons include anything and everything, but in an upgraded and much more efficient form, they are the only fighting force in the Legion with body armor. They wear an updated form of the LNA-1 spacesuit, fitting much more tightly and being heavily armored. There is an estimated 50,000 of them.
Navy units.
Spoiler:
All Legion Navy units are streamlined and have fin-like wings, so they can move underwater effectively, the LNA also prefers heavy hulls over shielding.
LNA-1 Deep Space Deployment Suit: The LNA-1 D-SDS is a large, metal suit. Thrusters are dotted in vital places for zero-gravity movement, and a simple jetpack for faster movement. It's a bit bulkier than the T'Ack'Mul user, as it needs more space to keep it filled with a good amount of water. It has an advanced HUD on the porthole, and can adapt to any weapon the T'Ack'Mul use, you can also not see through the suit's mask and look the user in the eyes, as it's reflective.
L.G.A Deep Space Deployment Marines: The LGA's marine branch utilizes the LNA-1 D-SDS, they are trained to board ships and space stations, and usually come with a LM-7 AB drone for reconnaissance.
LNA-3 Krakken Wing-Fighter: The LNA-3 is the standard fighter. It has two heavy pulse repeaters, and 4 advanced lock on missiles. In a state of last resort desperation, the pilot can supercharge the wormhole generator, sending him inside the wormhole dimension and back out instantly. The sudden acceleration will bring the wing fighter at extremely fast speeds, and it can then propel itself into an enemy ship, devastating the armor/shields. Doing this brings you honor from The Lights, one of the greatest things a T'Ack'Mul can achieve.
LNA-4 Infiltrator/Squadron: Leader: The LNA-4 Infiltrator can phase past enemy ship's shields to wreak havoc on the enemy's hulls before their shields even fail. Because of this they carry a fighter-bomber's loadout. They have a single repeater and carry the same amount of payload a LNA-23 does.
LNA-23 Fighter-Bomber: The LNA-23 Fighter Bomber has been retroactively designed to go faster than it's escort wings, proving some fundamental problems yet again from Research and Development. It can just as easily fair on it's own, as it can be upgraded with a backseat to have a pulse cannon on the back, which improves it's survivability a little. It relies on speed to avoid hits as it's hull can be destroyed with one or two simple pulse rounds. The reason it's made light is so of course it can carry more weapons and keep speed up. It carries a shield sapping pulse turret and up to 3 heavy bombs, 6 medium bombs, or 10 light bombs. http://www.3drt.com/3dm/aliens/al-09-01.jpg
LNA-5 Deployment Cruiser: The LNA-5 Deployment cruiser is a huge housing ship. It holds very few, weak weapons, and cannot last on it's own for long, with weak shielding and a thin hull. It carries a huge hangar for ground deployment, and that's really it's only role. http://application.denofgeek.com/images/m/75spaceships/main/mediumtransport.jpg
LNA-6 Carrier Cruiser: The same thing as the LNA-5 with fighter wing holding capabilities, better AA AI weapons systems, and shielding.
LNA-11 Fleet Assault Cruisers: Smaller ships with an average of 5-10 pulse weapons on each side, armed with heavy armor and a weak shield, having it's own compliment of L.G.A Deep Space Deployment Marines for boarding capabilities. http://www.3drt.com/3dm/alms/alm-07_02.jpg
LGRD-12 Anti-Nuclear Defense Systems: A two-part nuclear launch detection and targeting system, that fires a small, super heated, and accurate laser at the warhead of the rocket, exploding it before it reaches it's target. Cool-down times take a while.
LGRS Tactical Nuke: The LGRS's Tactical Nuke packs a punch, being about 15 megatons, it's planned to be put on the flagship of the Legion.
LGRD-7 Fleet Allocating Wormhole Ship: A ship that is essentially a huge worm hole generator, it has no weapons, weak armor and shielding. It houses a massive wormhole generator, and uses fusion reactors to power a fast and large wormhole. http://www.colony-wars.com/members/pix/space_ship.jpg
LGRD-5 Multi Purpose Orbital Station: A large space station filled with water. Has on average 20 pulse cannons, and 10 ballistic missile launchers, containing early detection system technology that gives the Legion a heads-up on entering signatures. It's roles include: Naval base, medical bay, repair bay, trade port, etc. The fleet HQ orbiting the capital planet is an elongated LGRD-5 space station, having very large extending arms that can dock multiple ships. It relies heavily on it's shield for protection more than anything, as it's one of the few naval units that have weak armor.
--Experimental--
TBA
L.G.A Messenger of the Lights.
Spoiler:
Mothership and Commander Gender: Male Noticeable Trait: A 11 foot, old, angry cyborg crustacean. Being kept alive and well from various life supports located along his body, he is still as formidable as 50 years ago. Can be Found: No particular place, patrols the ship looking for "insubordination and weakness." Quality: Coldly calculating, will do things that get many of his crew killed if it means victory. Ship: The Messenger of the Lights. Interior: Filled with water, and odd computers, a system of large pumps to propel personnel to locations fairly quickly. A notable brownish and boring color of the lesser important rooms of the ship. The officer's quarters and bridge, other important rooms are decorated with smooth, colorful coral, but in a mature, militaristic form. Crew: Brainwashed and efficient.
Members Identifiable By: Blue dyed shells. Common Trait: Suicidal acts to save their own empire/ship, and to bring them honor from the Lights.
Initial Contact Relation: Seemingly peaceful and passive, but territorial. Mood: "Start it, and we can end it."
Overseeing Admiral Yrkzz'Ca'Trok.
--Overview-- Built from the largest forge of the industrial moon of Kravnnk, the Messenger of The Lights employs the rock-hard minerals of the seas of their planets, a shiny gleam of thin coral workings along the hull make it a majestic and elegant looking spaceship, 1000 meters long, it is the ultimate form of intimidation and oppression to top it off.
--Offensive--
It's starboard and port are lined with manned pulse cannons, 30 on each side. It also has a small hangar that holds 8 fighters and two fighter-bombers, and has a compliment of 200 Deep Space Deployment Marines.
The Messenger of the Light's newest weapon is the Leviathan PROTO-X1 High Concentration Laser Platform. It is a large beam cannon that sits on top of the ship, located in the center of it. It fires a massive beam of energy, but takes a long time for cooldown and recharging.
--Defensive--
Hard and relatively thick hull, very small and weak shield generator. If the need to abandon the ship were ever to arise, there are various rocket propelled escape pods located along the ship, it also has many small AI operated fighter-defense guns.
LGRD-12 Anti Nuclear Defense laser, blows up nuclear warheads before they reach home, long cooldown.
--Movement-- The anti-gravity wormhole generator is located in the core of the ship, it's a standard generator, sending the ship at standard speed. Everything about it is normal for now, recharging rate, speed, etc.
--Oddities-- A unique thing about The Messenger of the Lights, and any T'Ack'Mul ship, is that it can go underwater, making it effective for ambushes of ships in atmospheric ranges, and can hide it from prying eyes of orbiting and planetary probes, if it goes deep enough, radar cannot reach it.
--Fleet Compliment: LNA Type 13 Assault Battleship "Hunter 1-2": 20 pulse weapons, 10 on each side. Compliment of 150 L.G.A marines. Modified battleship specialized for the war on the Aturor.
LNA Type 11 Assault Cruiser "Hunter 1-3": 10 pulse weapons, 5 on each side. Compliment of 80 L.G.A marines. Modified cruiser specialized for the war on the Aturor.

Once the armaments were made and the surgery was proven successful for Hhuk-Mnatal survival, the LGCED continued to work on brain manipulation, although being a leader in cyborg enhancements, the technology just doesn't cut it quite yet and they're looking for a breakthrough.. http://www.scene-stealers.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/starshiptroopers1.jpg

The Legion of T'Ack'Mul 50 years into the future has changed much. They are still a facist state with government controlled business, but they temporariyl turned their interests away from militarization to focus on cybernetics and trade to help stimulate their economy.
Cyborg technology has increased substantially after a Doctor Kurikk Llomar worked his genius on the cybernetic division of Research and Development. Many high class wealth, such as the 153 year old Overlord, who would have died 30-40 years ago of old age if not for the Doctor's genius, are kept alive just by their active cyborg life supports.
The Legion turned away it's invasion plans for the racist FIS to try and clean planet 697 "Mmerkrotrz". They were partly successful, they cleaned most of the lethal radiation swirling around the atmosphere, but mortality rates became an all-time high in planet 697, and the delicate environment suffered heavily as well. The Legion, pressed only by it's many allies did not decide to seek revenge on the Kohn Alliance. Instead, they broke down their armies into less costly peacetime home security units, using their funds to again fix 697. Some terraforming was done on jungle areas that were near destroyed by the spread of radiation. And the radiation sickness in many of the T'Ack'Mul helped cyborg tech rise in the medical world of the Legion.
697 became a major trading area. Many trade hubs were set in orbit around the planet, along with many Legion supported tourist agencies which provided lavish orbiting hotels and excursions to the least radiation scarred areas below.
The Legion then went into a state of isolation, keeping constant contact only with it's trading partners and close allies...
20 years after the isolationist act, the Legion begins representing itself once again in the Galatic Congress. Having learned from poor diplomatic relations, their subtle threats become sparse. They become much more open to all Empires, excluding the FIS, but still do not tolerate threats against their Empire. The Legion became open with sharing it's simpler cyborg advancements, not giving anyone too much that would compromise their organically cybernetic monopoly.
After re-establishing itself in the galaxy, they followed up on their vows to end the Aturor in the coalition formed a few decades ago. In the past decade, they re-militarize. With the Legion's economy given newfound strength with opened trade, the military comes out of it's para-military state. Once again the mighty ships of the T'Ack'Mul Fleet emerge from the oceans, returning to their aggressively defensive positions. The many piled up experimental units are put through, and the Legion's army is rebuilt, becoming integrated with basic cyborg technology.
In the last decade, they are of the leading empires in the anti-Arturic coalition. "Operation Arturic Flashlight" began 6 years ago, the Legion deployed thousands of drone ships. These drone ships scattered themselves over the galaxy, and released probes that could go at low sub-light speeds along their journey. So far, no evidence of Arturor has been found, but the probes are still searching. The final step in remilitarization was the glorious capital ship. Admiral Yrkkz'Ca'Trokk, an old crustacean, made young again with the newest cyborg technology the Legion has to offer, was given back command of his ship. It was then given a prototype beamed weapon, and sent back into the fleets..
