<:: Distress Signal!

A large dark ship blasts from the Unknown Sector, screaming out distress signals and bouncing them off anything it can as it shoots across the area. It quickly leaves the sector, heading to god knows where. The ship only has light armaments for protection only, the life signs within the ship are extremely high, though the nature of these readings are plant based.

The ship continues to blast across space for a bit longer, it's engines eventually burning out and the ship simply drifting on what momentum it still has left. The lights within the ship are all off, the only sign of energy from the ship is the bio-signs from within and the distress signals still screaming out for help.

** A T'Ack'Mul cruiser enters space, beginning to scan the ship for anything important.

*** A Sewonian heavy cruiser exits hyperspace, immediatly powering up their shields. They have picked up the distress signal on one of their scouting missions. The weapons of the cruiser quickly power up, as auto-defence turrets begin twirling around, scanning everywhere for targets. The ship hasn't entered any targetting data yet, so they are left simply scanning for the moment. All crewmembers and security quickly scramble to their stations, as the communications officer of the cruiser sends out a signal, trying to gain contact with both the T'Ack'Mul cruiser and the ship in distress.

"This is the AURION III of the Sewonian Empire. We have recieved a distress signal and come to investigate. We are not hostile. I repeat; WE ARE NOT HOSTILE. Requesting all nearby ships to issue identification. Failure to respond at all to this signal will force us to board."

*** The AURION III's scanners slowly power up, as they are aimed at the T'Ack'Mul cruiser first. They then aim towards the ship having transmitted the signal, and back to the T'Ack'Mul cruiser.

**A radio tranmission comes back, full of static for a moment, then a fast speaking, deep voice a sentence of T'Ack'Mul is heard, and the cruiser pulls around to the ship, 3 boarding ships exiting it and flying to the ship.

In a text message on screens, it reads "Do not interfere with Legion Navy operations."

*** The crew on the bridge of the AURION gather around the main screen for a moment and stand in silence, before quickly erupting into the commander yelling instructions to his men as everyone scramble back to their stations. The communications officer sends out another message to the T'Ack'Mul ship.

"We will interfere if we must. We recieved a distress signal and are forced under protocol established by the Sewonian Emperor himself to respond and investigate. We will now dispatch armed troops to the ship in distress. Any attempts at engaging our forces will result in your own forces destruction as well as your ship being fired upon. I repeat; engaging our forces will bring death upon you all."

*** The AURION's launch bays slowly open as 2 TCT-248 troop transports are dispatched, escorted by 6 III-266 fighters. They begin making their way towards the drifting ship.
The AURION itself turns and slowly begins drifting themselves to keep up with the distressed ship.

**Another deep line of T'Ack'Mul sounds over, the text on the screen filling up. "All entry will be denied. This is a classified operation." The T'Ack'Mul ship floats in closer to the distressed ship, the boarding parties enter into the hangars.

***The AURION remains silent for the entire approach of their armed convoy. As they start to get closer to the distressed ship, the fighters simply stop in formation and let the carriers land on their own inside the ship's hangars. 18 men rush out of each transport, quickly moving into formation, securing the entire hangar while yelling at eachother over the short-range radios in their breath-masks. The squads quickly make their way in towards the ship, the squad leaders yelling commands to their respective squads. Suddenly, the AURION sends out a quick message to the T'Ack'Mul.

"We have boarded the ship and intend to investigate. We will not interfere with your operations if you do not interfere with ours. Our men are on a strict cease-fire and will not engage unless engaged. Repeat: We are not hostile. Interference will not occur."

L.G.A marines in white LNA-1 spacesuit armor block the exits to the hangar, beating their claws against their chest and aggressively whooping.

On another hangar, a large container is hauled out from the dropship, being carried in by way of escort.

The ship continues to drift, no reaction whatsoever to the ships coming close to it. It remains a dead and floating rock. Once the ships board and the main doors into the ship open, it lights up brightly. The entire systems coming online and it jumps forward a bit as the engines kick briefly. It then drifts slowly again, completely heedless of any presence upon it.

The innards of the ship would be covered in thick greenish brown fauna, covering the walls and floors in patches and thick spots. Vines hung down from the ceiling and the smell was just god fucking awfull. The life sign readings are heavy indeed. They cover the whole ship in ridiculous amounts. It's impossible to tell if there is actually a sentient being on board. The heat signatures it throws off are great as well.

** The marines set the large device down, 4 LM-7's deploying from it and hovering by the marines as they sweep the ship slowly, their heavy metal suits clanking loudly against the floor. The marines in the bay stand guard, not permitting entry to it by Sewonian forces.

***The Sewonian cruiser sends out a mass of encrypted signals again. After a few minutes of this, the signals stop, and a signal echoes towards the T'Ack'Mul cruiser.

"This is the AURION I; all we are asking for is for you to be reasonable. We will let you keep the device you have obtained and anything else you can find, if you only let us gain entry to the ship for investigation. We are not equipped for removing anything, and nor do we have the time. If you fail to see reason, then this will be heard of the galactic embassy, and your reputation will be greatly wounded.
I repeat; We are only here to investigate. We are not removing anything from the ship. If you do not let us in, we will let the rest of the world know.

***The Sewonian soldiers begin slowly backing off towards their ships, and take up defensive positions behind, in, and around them, ready for any form of hostile action."

** The marine's radios echo in the port. For a long while they stand motionless, before turning slowly back through the corridor to link up with the rest of their teams.

In the center of the ship, the squad sweeps along a long corridor, their LM-7s flashing many lights in every nook and cranny, coming to a door and opening it.

***The Sewonians wait for the marines to leave, then begin shouting loudly, their voices echoes throughout the hangar. They quickly advance on the entrance, stacking up around it and slowly proceeding into the corridor. As they enter the long corridors, they quickly go quiet and slow down as they all bring down their nightvision goggles, slowly moving along the passages, trying as hard as they can to distinguish where the T'Ack'Mul are, and move in the opposite direction.

As both sides make their way through the corridors the ship remains silent for now. The moment the Crabpeople open up one of the doors, numerous hidden ones shoot open down the hall. Large bulbous pods of gas and what looks to be pinkish flesh confront the crab-people the moment the door opens. It remains silent and still before exploding in a mess of gas and what appears to be dust, being inhaled and landing on the crabthings. More would flood from the doors, slow moving and deliberate. They do not appear to have eyes and have thick vines hanging down from their 'bodies'. The block off the entrance to the corridor and just remain floating there. Seemingly harmless.

**The marine's suits are covered in the dust, some clicking and grunting angrily as their viewing port is covering in it and blinding them, desperately trying to clean it off with their clumsy claws. The squad leader grunts, throwing his claw up to signal something. A marine with a LGRS-277 flamethrower steps up, heaving the ignition end up toward the floating things. "Stand-by, LM-7's will scan."

The 4 hovering probes circle around the floating blobs, scanning them. The rest of the squad raises their pulse weapons slowly.

***The Sewonians continue advancing along the ship, splitting up into two groups as they hit a forking in the corridor. They continue their whispering, barely hearable through their breathmasks. Night-vision goggles shine blue in the dark as they slowly advance, their heavy gravity-plated boots giving off very slight clanging sounds with every step they take.

The fleshbags begin to advance upon the Crabpeople and the Sewonians, slowly still. They don't appear any major threat at this moment. However over time both species will begin to feel pain in their guts and searing pains in their heads. And perhaps the screamin' squirts.
Every now and then one of the floating things would explode, shooting the rest of the group forward in the release of air and occasionally setting off a chain reaction as the walls, floor, and air become infested with the dust they leave behind.

**The L.G.A marines click and grunt, the squad leader slams his clam on the marine the with the flamethrower, and he starts spewing flame all over the pods in front of him and on the spores.

***The Sewonians try to move away from the pods, slowly pulling back to the bay where they entered. They always keep atleast two weapons pointed in the general direction of the pods.
One of the soldiers speaks into his radio while the others maintain complete silence.

"Captain, Sir. This is ONE. We've encountered some kind of.. we have no idea what it is. Hostility is yet undecided. They seem to be advancing on us, and exploding, but not much else. Requesting modified orders."

A few of the marines seem to blink a bit behind their safety goggles, clenching either their gut or head quickly, but they continue onwards like nothing.
