.: Backstory :.
Spoiler:
Ten years ago, a project was put into action involving the safety and well being of a girl named Hayley. Hayley was the last off spring of an underground mixed culture of Dwarfs and Mages. The population mainly consisted of Dwarfs and Gnomes, the Mages that resided with them were ether there for studying their culture or simply for a place to stay. The Dwarfs had a few years earlier built a large set of tunnels and rooms beneath the ground, leading under a mountain side. Wanderers were rare, and even then, could not pass the giant stone door the Dwarfs had built to protect themselves. The worker population were greatly skilled in mechanical systems and the mages would often agree to help in their projects.
Hayley, was the remaining off spring after the rest of the infant population perished in disease and famine, the underground village running low on supplies and food. She was human, though did not yet have any magic capabilities. The Mages, interested in keeping their legacies or stories alive, tutored her at an early age, but the results were fruitless... Hayley grew up to be a frail little girl, shying away from social activities and keeping to herself in her room. As the years passed, the foretold project took new life. The Dwarfs and Mages were hard at work building a giant, metal guardian for Hayley, in hopes that it would keep her safe through her years until she would not need him anymore. The project was led by two Gnome mechanics, a Dwarf smith and an elder human with a history of magic usage.
At age 4, Hayley's parents perished due to a plague that had affected a quarter of the population before dissipating. The plague took a heavy toll on the city; Hallways became empty, rooms of play and socializing fell quiet, Hayley was alone. The doctors and medicine-men/women took Hayley under their wings, taking care of her conditions...
A few months after Hayley's tenth birthday, the mechanical monster was brought to life with a mix of steam powered clockwork engines and enchantments. A dangerous mix, but the mess of gears seemed to follow his orders well. It was decided the machine was ready to see Hayley for the first time, a group of Mages focused on enchanting the mind of the metal beast into thinking the child's safety was its goal in life. Once the two met, the machine immediately took to her side as her friend and her eternal protector. Hayley soon became attached to it, eventually naming it; Mister Blasen.
As the years passed, the city became hollow. The population died from sickness, the medicine men could not keep up with the spreading diseases. Hayley fell prey to the illness, her health slowly deteriorating. Hayley was sixteen now, she laid on her bed, day in, day out. Blasen watched over her continuously until it decided, it was time. Its creators were gone, and his goal had changed; if it is to protect her, it must find a new care-taker for Hayley... -and so, Blasen curled Hayley into her blanket like an infant and carried her out of the underground city. Leaving it behind, forever.
.: Goals :. (Eternal) -Remain Functional- -Protect Hayley- (Ongoing) -Find a Doctor for Hayley- (Completed) (Failed)
.: Note :.
Spoiler:
This application is mainly for Mr.Blasen. Hayley is technically part of the application but she is merely a sixteen year old, human girl with no special traits /yet/. The person playing Hayley will decide what traits, personality, etc Hayley will ultimately grow into and applicate for them if needed.
Yes, it was inspired by Bioshock... -But I changed it to a more medieval theme and more believable to Olden's canon.

A note:
This character's entire goal in life is to protect Hayley, it will not participate in any attacks, muggings or etc.

I like it, and the Bioshock idea kinda scares me. "I'm low on my luck." "Maybe this dirty, bloody, hypo can help my wo- HOLY SHIT I CAN PISS FIRE" Accept. For now.

I'm not sure that level of technology even exists in olden. Or even will for a few decades/centuries, ICly.
Mr. B was just like this, and provoked Johnny's ban.
This is iffy. This sort of character is (no offense), unoriginal and easily abused, as it is more or less a literal powerhouse, but such characters are rarely subject to character growth in terms of power.
The only way to see if you can properly roleplay such a character like this is to see it for myself, so I give this a cautious accept.

Yeah, and I would say this kind of surpasses current technology. A sentient machine that can feel love.

More or less my opinion now.

This just seems like a Bioshock rip. Yes, it's not exactly the same, but it's bleeding obvious where this idea came from.
And, factor in what Psyche said, that spells out a deny from me.

We already had a bloody Big Daddy, and that turned out very bad. Psyche already stated my opinion, and so did Munroe.
But one thing I'd like to add is that making characters that are dependent on another one of your characters is always a bad idea. It slows down character development. And it's generally annoying when you go fuck shit up for one character, and another character made by the same person comes along and fucks your shit up. It just feels like an OOC grudge. But yeah.
