Reports are coming in regarding what can only be described as a pillar of violet light that shot straight into the sky. This pillar was seen for a period of roughly ten minutes the previous night. Its size and intensity made it visible for hundreds of miles around. Judging by its size and distance, it was at least a mile in diameter.
Accompanying the pillar was an electrical whine of some sort, like a flow of intense energy. When the pillar first appeared, many also report hearing loud thunder. This could be heard only in nearby settlements, such as Surna.
The pillar's source is being searched for by various scouts and amateur freelancers. It seems to have come from a location south of Surna, deep in the woods. Several would-be scouts have gone missing in the treacherous area. More to come. | |
