:: Backstory :: Speaker was born in the capital of Tantirov and of the Ulmatar race, Dascrap. His father started teaching him how to make his own weapons and explosives, as well as traps at a very young age. It was traditional training at first but eventually he start experimenting for himself, making new weapons and new explosives out of scrap and salvage. He got the name Speaker because he was always talking about recent events and asking questions, he was given various jobs involving his talkative nature, such as being a messenger and spreading word of new stores. He got the nickname Tick from a customer, who called him a bloodsucking tick for overpricing his goods, it stuck and he likes it. He started stealing from people when he moved to Eshira on an old Ulmatar craft. He started with small things but eventually started breaking into homes and stealing from richer and increasingly difficult targets. He opened up a small workshop where he makes weapons, armor, and explosives out of salvaged or stolen items. He focuses on making explosives. He prefers making what he calls "Blade Bombs" which is like a shrapnel grenade, it's a metal ball with sharp blades and metal welded onto the surface with even more sharp objects inside and explosives packed inside to detonate it with a button that sets off a timer attached to a spark plug or electrical wires. He makes them in his workshop before going out to steal, for emergency situations...

Good, but you might wanna add a bit in the bio about his names. How did he get the name "Speaker" (When I read the title I thought he might've had a cool job like what the Mouth of Sauron has in the LotR. <3)

I've never seen the third film, but I heard the Mouth of Sauron is hella creepy. I refuse to watch them because they changed the cannon of the books far too much D:

Well it's named because thats just what the company calls it, and it's not really modified, sometimes he welds sharp metal and objects onto the grenades but thats risky (welding torch + explosives usually = explosion).

He would most likely solder them on, rather than welding them on. Then again that would be kind of pointless because fragmentation grenades already cause sharpnel to go flying.

I know that frag grenades have shrapnel from the grenade itself, but adding some metal only effects the weight and aerodynamics, I know enough about explosives to get by, as for the soldering idea, he would but he doesn't have a soldering iron or soldering rod.

You are aware that a soldering tool is just a hot metal stick, right? It's not hard to make a makeshift one. Metal rod + insulative material + fire.
