Pyrokinesis

Pyrokinesis is essentially the ability to alter the flammability of objects. One can remove the flammable properties of, for example, wood and add it to a non flammable object, like metal or stone.

Personality:
Skeeve's personality has been shaped by his long and mostly miserable life. Having never settled in one place for long he hasn't gained any significant others in his life and often feels quite lonesome. On top of that his hideous appearance has made him wary to show himself in public, as most would judge and condemn him as monster on sight. He often keeps to himself, keeping his warped voice lowered to try and hide his speech impediment caused by having no lips. He's incredibly reclusive, wishing to remain in the confines of his robe, hiding himself from the world at large. The only time he's at ease is when he performs his tricks in front of others, loving to see the joy and amusement on their faces.

Backstory:
Skeeve was born in the town of Paws, a Imperial island colony for the sick and incredibly poor. Even at a young age it was obvious he was different, candles and other objects randomly bursting into flame when in his vicinity. He was examined by a local mage, but it was concluded that he didn't posses any sort of fire magic. The residents of the colony were content to leave it at that, having more than enough problems to deal with as it was. This however, changed when he was seven. A mysterious fire engulfed their home on night, trapping all inside. After what seemed like an eternity it seemed as if they all managed to escape the burning house, though unfortunately his only sibling, his elder sister of two years perished in the blaze.

A few years passed. Skeeve had been sent away to an orphanage on the mainland by his parents who hated and resented him for the death of his sister, which they blamed on him. During his time in the orphanage his was kept in the cellar to avoid another repeat of his previous residence. However, it was also to keep him hidden from the outside world as he wasn't free from the effects of the fire, which had left him hideously scarred to beyond the point one might consider possible. Over the years however, Skeeve managed to get a hold of his curse and began to use it for his entertainment, making the fire dance, forming it into shapes and so on.

Once he reached the age of sixteen he was allowed to leave the orphanage, having proven his control over curse. He donned a heavy robe and set out on the road to a new life. Ever since then he's been on the move, performing roadside tricks with his pyrokineses to scratch out a living.

Appearance:
Skeeve is always seen in a heavy brown cloak couped with a cheap-looking burlap knapsack. He does as much as he can to hide as much of himself as possible, including his horribly scarred face which, along with the rest of his body is covered in calluses from repeated burnings.

Further Information
For those of you who wish to know about pyrokineses it's the process of altering the flammability of certain objects. All objects on Aeria possess alchemical qualities, which also includes it's susceptibility to fire. Pyrokineses modifies these elements by exchanging that flammable quality with another object. For example, if one wished to ignite a sword, they would need a flammable object, for example, coal. They would then transfer the flammable quality to the sword. However, the more flammable the sword is made, the less flammable the coal is made until eventually the sword is as flammable as a piece of coal and the coal is not flammable at all. It is also worth mentioning that the density of an object plays into this process, as the object becomes dense it also becomes less probable to achieve combustion. This process can be repeated for one object, transferring so much flammability that small amounts of air can catch fire from even a ray of sunshine, though this requires alot of resources to achieve.
