Epic idea-- pat and ruta(?)

Pat: Alright, we have an idea

Pat: To tell you a new idea
Pat: Alright, as of now
Pat: Training can be apped for, right?

Pat: Training for anything
Rhai | Aieva (GeoWulf): yeah
Pat: Fighting, magic, ect
Pat: well
Pat: What if we redid it
Pat: So that training cannot be apped for
Pat: You can only do it three ways;
Pat: 1. Faction training, for free, which you can get if you are accepted into a faction
Pat: 2. Paid training, through either the Mages Plenary, which I will restart, and the Guards
Pat: 3. Personal training, through gradual experience and IC fights
Pat: This will do many things
Pat: 1. There won't be anymore insta apps for awesome shit, since that won't be allowed
Pat: 2. People will want to join various factions more, because they can get free training
Pat: 3. Increasing character interaction, as well as having trusted people do the training
Pat: Only Plenary or Guards can train through pay
Pat: At the beggining,with a new character
Pat: You may app for some basic skills, maybe a small special ability
Pat: But nothing big
Pat: And at the higher end
Pat: You may app for special conditions, such as Don's demon mask, or ect
Pat: Which are only accepted if they are an experienced RPer
Pat: and uch
Pat: *such

Jarg: if it is accepted, they can train a person, just like a member of the Guards or Enclave
Jarg: But, only trusted memebrs will be accepted

I agree this is a good idea. BUT! There will have to be an experience table or something. Plus we would have to know what gives how much experience. Plus er.... Yeah those things about trusted trainers. (that train for free (like Zayl, Marius, and Kard (lol my current teachers XD)))

Excuse me what? As Far as I know, they never said a thing about "Leveling up." Its not becomming a MMO RPG, Just more Organized and Fair.

Sorry I thought "training through gradual experience" meant gaining levels as well. =/

Good idea. I would be for it

I fully support this idea. It'd be great for people not to just app for a power and then come out of nowhere with all the power in the world. And if you get trained in something by a good RPer, you will most likely become a better RPer yourself.

I think that by experience, Pat meant RP-experience, how good you are at RPing.

I vote since factions are up we start using this system now, though would have to be set up Mages in server.

We aren't all completely set up. We still have lots of factions that we need to establish.

I'd like to bring this idea back to the attention of the community.

And, along with this idea, I'd actually like to limit the factions to the four or so "primal" factions, instead of the many empty ones we have now. That would be, Town Guard, The Order of Tyr, (Perhaps) The Necromancers, and the Bloody Claw. These factions would provide duality, one faction generally having an opposing faction.

I realize the idea originally stated most likely still has kinks; Ideas would be wonderfull. That, and whether this idea should be implimented.

Oh, and please tell if there's something you don't understand, either in SF or this thread.

Not much to say, except I give this my full support. This idea wasn't given as much attention as it deserves, and rather instead of posting several times in this thread, I recommend we just implement it. Right now.
