Empty Graves Cause Stir in Surna!

7th December - Edition 1

Recent mourners to visit the graves just outside Surna where horrified to discover yesterday that the graves of their dearly departed - and the majority of the others within the cemetery - had been dug up, and emptied of the dead.

Roughly ten to twenty graves were found empty, yesterday evening, completely devoid of their dead inhabitants. Mrs. Thimple, one of the first mourner's to discover the scene, gave us her account.

"I was going to visit my husband Harry's grave, and when I first stepped into that cemetery, something seemed odd. Turns out the thing that seemed odd was that every grave had been dug up! It's horrible! My dear harry."

She broke into tears and was unable to continue. We attempted to question the Guard on this matter, but received no reply. There are rumors that the illustrious Commander Thorn has his eye set too far off of Surna, on the supposed coming war. We at the Whittle find this no excuse to let injustice such as this pass.
