So we're holding an admin meeting tomorrow, concerning the most recent version of the plan for the Occitan siege and Ara'ki plot transition. Also included will be possible map options, variations on the plan, and brainstorming for a possible timeline (IRL) of events, as well as discussion of lore needed for creation regarding Ara'ki.

It's set to occur at 4 PM pacific standard time. Non-admins needed at this meeting include Kain and Mack.

Abesquillian Ambassador: Then I propose this happens; Surna is captured and taken by the Occitans, but not destroyed. The Talib abes recover and either reform the defenses at the border, cutting off occitan supply lines, or they go on the offensive

Kain: i say they resume defenses and prevent further conflict
Abesquillian Ambassador: because of the arcane tempest, and the soldiers are left wondering what happened east of the mountains

Abesquillian Ambassador: legion forces are enroute to the border, and the only reason they haven't gotten in the area is because the occitans need to invade unopposed for plot purposes

Abesquillian Ambassador: and perhaps arcane tempests along the border force the Talib Abes to move south

Abesquillian Ambassador: The Abes sabotage the border defenses, allowing Occitanian forces to move down the border. They do their thing, taking cities until they reach surna. Surnan player characters attempt a plan to teleport reinforcements directly into surna's surroundings, which backfires thanks to an arcane tempest, teleporting a chunk of surna to Ara'ki.
Abesquillian Ambassador: From here it goes into debate, but I propose that the translocation plan completely fails, and troops are not teleported into Surna. Occitan takes Surna without much further trouble, but in the north, the Talib abes recover, with a portion of their forces removed or destroyed, but able to be considered a threat, and as such a 'failure' on the 'sidan's' part
Abesquillian Ambassador: of course we could simplify this all by just disregarding my idea, which was the abes plot to pit occitan against sida

Mack: so they have no contact with high command, and thusly operate as independent cells and try to either fall back and regroup, or begin guerilla warfare
Mack: dependant on the group commander
Mack: so basically talibar'd be harassed by occitanian guerillas, but the main army can't really do anything since they're so disorganized
Abesquillian Ambassador: well we're trying to create a feeling of overall war. like, the world going to crap while the players are in ara'ki
Mack: well the troops are bound to regroup sometime
Mack: so there'll be smaller forces split off from the army that can still engage talibarian forces
Mack: so there'll be no massive onslaught
Mack: but occitan is still in the war
Kain: fine with me, prolonging an outcome is part of the goal

Kain: theres just one problem that came to mind, and, is it going to be universal between all factions
Kain: do occitanians or the elves or drow use their own forms of currency?

Mack: the factions have their own currency, but they still use one major one that's universal
Mack: like say the occitanian outpost
Kain: well, talibar uses a system of gold, silver and copper, where copper is basically pennies
Mack: you do good stuff, you get paid in occitanian gold marks, and with these you can buy equipment or services from them
Kain: 10 copper is a silver, 10 silver is a gold.... and gold is the universal currency
