so hey yeah i thought it'd be best to let anyone who still cares know we're still going.

viral's currently fixing the script since it seems to be having a shitfit and refusing to work, but if he can get that working then hopefully we'll be up by next week.

i just had some things for you guys to consider.

SECONDLY
sweps.

i recently worked with someone porting a pack of Alien Swarm weapons and making them sexy, and some people have been making some decent SWEPs out of them on toybox.
TOTALLY NOT DEAD Gunnes
these three are the most appealing to me since they all have worldmodels and seem pretty decent. there's two more on toybox but they're kind of shit.

if toybox weapons like these work in multiplayer, then would anyone object to having them on the server?

The hand poses on the third person model are only shitty because

A. lining up world models with actually holding the weapons is hard especially with custom models

B. that's my personal playermodel and it doesn't have fingerposing

Hostile creatures are likely to be there, and we're hardly going to have to be friends with each other, so people getting shot is likely.

I'll take that as an overall "yeah" for the weapons. They'll be on the server when i can figure out how to get them on there. Not sure if they'll work in multiplayer either, but if i can get them to work then they'll be up faster than something that gets up very fast.

As for the map, yes, no?

Darkdolina may be a pain in the ass to get on the server since it's the map and the fix, so only the map will be on autodl.

I like the garbage map since it's just the map and no fix to mess around with, so people can easily just join and play.

plus the garbage map is much nicer looking in places.

Whenever Kain helps me fix the script, or Pat gives me a copy of Oldens so I can mod it.

So no, no you can't have a time frame because you can't predict the actions of entities of pure chaos (Pat & Kain.)

I can put it onto TTT or something in the meantime.
