Personality: Ignorant, Will most times hold a grudge but not always.
Biography:
Spoiler:
Altrai was a Rather young and scrawny boy in the small village of Solistron. The village was ravenged by poverty, disease and violence. The people there were scared to leave, because they believed it was the safest place in the whole world. To them Ignorance was truly bliss. Most of the time these people were Human and quite judging over races. Rarely an elf and human would have a marriage and successfully have a kid in this lowly farmers town. The people often was racist to Half-breeds and most other races were social outcasts. For Altrai that was his life and he believed that is how it always would be, Racism until his passing. One day Altrai was doing some farming work with his Father, while his mother and sister stayed alone at home, always at home. They never left due to the physical appearance of the females in his family. They looked Elven, and probably because they were. They were often teased, or even abused Physically by all the other villagers. Altrai had finished his work with his father and suddenly he became very panicky, saying to go home and lock the door to the basement, and not let anyone in, even his best friend if he had one. Altrai ran home, his mind ablaze with all the possible outcomes of why his father told him to do this, but he did that none the less. When Altrai returned to his house, His mother quickly turned him around and said to quickly find his sister. He ran, other villagers running past him scolding him as they went for being outside. After 15 minutes of searching he returned to his home to find his father on the floor, dead and his mother bleeding by his fathers side. His Mother told him to take the family heirloom, a strangely red sword that was always used by the men in her family. Altrai had to pull it from his fathers cold dead fingers which to a 13 year old boy is pretty tough. Altrai's mother told him of a place far away, where he may be safe from all the harshness of Solistron. He told her he would head there and never forget his only mother. With her last dying breaths she taught him the only thing he would need to know to continue her memory. She taught him the healing ability to use the inner light to restore his own wounds and others wounds. With this she sent him away into the night and she died clutching Altrai's fathers arm.
He was 20 by the time he reached Surna, The place he always believed was what his mother told about. He ran up the hill to the gate and by the end of the week he was a Recruit in the Guard. He loved it there, the chances for action and Helping others. Years later he left, in search of his sister. Unsuccessful in finding her he returned at the age of 25 to resume his position as a Staff Sargent in the Guard. after a while he realized he could not continue as a guard. Still unsure of what has happened in his mind he left, and used the experience of being in the guard to help people that normally he could not or did not help while in the guard. Earlier when Altrai had came to Surna, he took the name of a recently killed Caravan guard, Steven Rodgers. Being afraid of the same racism that had happened to him when he was in Solistron he used this name for most of his time in the guard, if not all of it. When his mind changed, he felt secure enough with himself to use his real, elven given name due to the lack of racism and his experiences in Surna.
Skills:
Healing:
Spoiler:
This Process of healing is a fairly simple process in which the Healer calms the mind and uses their own "inner light" to project into other peoples wounds and speed up the natural healing process. With this work the healer may heal most wounds fairly quickly with little energy required by the healer, However when the healer uses this process on themselves it requires a rather large ammount of stamina for even a fair sized wound.
As of this moment Altrai is on a fairly experienced rate of healing and may be able to heal most Medium to large wounds with a fair bit of effort. Although with the aid of even a similarly skilled or more healer, Altrai may be able to bring people back from the brink of death. In Theory that is.

Note: Made at 1 in the morning so it may be rough.
Note Two: Theme song may not be fitting but personally it fits for me.
Note Three: Yes, this is my past char Rodgers, but I preferred to change the name so I would not have to truck around Generic "Steven Rodgers" everywhere.

You know what could be cool is if that Altrai, upon first arriving in Surna, was fearful of possible discrimination against Elves / Half-Elves, and went by the generic name Steven Rodgers. However, since he's left Surna / due to his experiences in Surna, he's comfortable enough with himself to use his real, Elven name.
fun fact for you though: Altair is the name of a solar object, so AC1 doesn't have the only Altair.

youre the one who said AC1, not me. i only said it sounded like altair. i could have very well been referring to the star altair.
also, you said altair. that means i get to post a passage from my logs of glory.
Quote :
"It would be cruel of me to leave you like this, Malik." Altair's calm tone cut through the silent, and caused Malik's hand to clench beneath the surface of the water. A scowl crossed his features, while Altair spoke next - "And I am not a cruel person." His hand, free of the gloves he'd pulled off a good while earlier, snaked downward. This elicited another futile jerk from Malik.

No offence, but this char page is kind of...really, really ugly.
You could have tried to put some effort into presentation. Also, there's a tag error before picture.
Other than that, it needs a bit of specification on 'healing'. Can he only barely fix a cut? Can he save someone from the brink of death?
Also: shouldn't this be in approval, not characters?
Fixed the tag error.
Most Oldfags will know what i mean on the healing but later on today I'll put a better explanation on it.
For the effort. Did i not say clearing it was made at 1 in the morning? Besides, Character pages should not need fancy skill ratios and such.
For the Approval thing, it does say re-posted at request.
Its also a simple change of character name from Generic to one less generic. But if i have to re-apply for all abilities/change of character name. I will do that at request of admin or vote.

he doesnt realise that super-fancy character pages with revolutionary design can't be demanded for every single character.
but yeah, healing magic needs to be alot more defined, there i can agree, even though i know what it is.

I dunno, it seems arrogant to post it directly in characters.
So far we've made every oldfag who decided to turn up again go through the approval process, presumably to make it fairer grounds. Y'know, cuz everyone else pretty much had to.
If i'm the only one who feels this way, then disregard it.
Looks a lot better now though, thank you for the effort.
One thing, you didn't really specifiy how adept he his at healing. We need to know his boundries, how good he is, just so we're not suprised when we see it put into practice. Can you do that?

Resurrection isn't something easy or commonly taught, and is different from healing magic. Back from the brink I can see possible, back from the dead isn't so much.

Bringing people back to life is impossible. If someone dies, you have only minutes to resurrect them or else their soul is lost. Bringing them back afterward just creates a soulless automaton, akin to a zombie.
Basically, somebody needs to explain Vitamancy to him.
Dibs not me.

He will always be Steven Rodgers to me.
Also, I guess Vitamancy would be my job to explain.

Unless of course you bind the soul to an object, though there aren't many objects about that can properly hold a soul.
Even with some sort of item to hold the soul, you'd need to redesign the body from scratch, reversing decomposition and rebuilding the sacred field, a near impossible task for pretty much anyone.
