| Fe G'le No'chPowers - Quote :
- It has only two active powers and three passive abilities.
The active powers are:
1. Ash cloud - Can take every speck of it's being and explode it into a cloud of toxic ashes, making it capable of slipping under locked doors, through keyholes, and through pretty much and crevice large enough to have an air current running through it. This ability is only available for use at 100% health, stamina, and magicka. If it is attempted otherwise, the specks will become "lost" and no longer in the control of the golem's consciousness (it takes severe damage, potentially destroying the golem entirely.) It can also allow part of itself to be inhaled by an enemy, wreaking havok from within the body. (The power acts much like the mummies' power in the Mummy movies)
2. Weapon generation - Being made of such loose materials as ash, the golem can reform its arms into spears. It cannot however make blunt weapons or swords, because loose materials materials tend to break on impact.
As for the passive abilities:
1. Reconstruct - Loose ash is taken from the surroundings directly into the golem, making repairs to damaged parts. This ability cannot be done in active combat, because it requires total concentration from the golem.
2. Phoenix Resurrection - If the golem is smashed hard enough (hard enough to 1-off), the golem will become a dormant pile of ash. After a set time, like three hours, the golem be become conscious again, rising from the pile of ashes back into its normal form.
3. Condensing - Allows the golem to compact the ash it is composed of into a very hard shell. This makes sharp, nonmagical weapons glance off causing no harm. This too can only be done at 100% health, stamina, and magicka because any imperfections in the shell will spread rapidly along the shell, breaking off the limb where the weapon hit. This is an automatically activated ability (as soon as the golem is at 100%, it compacts the shell.) General Stats - Quote :
- Strength
{ | | | | | | | | | | } Being made of ash makes lifting heavy objects difficult, but not impossible. Probably only capable of picking up 250 lbs of deadweight at one time. Ash golems are not strong like stone or bronze golems, so don't expect Fe to be picking up any wagons, boulders, etc.
Agility { | | | | | | | | | | } Ash is light enough to fly all the way around Aeria several times before settling down, making Fe capable of great leaps and quick movements. When an ash golem condenses a shell, it becomes capable of swimming very quickly even against the current. Fe can easily outmatch even the fastest Mer.
Personality { | | | | | | | | | | } Golems of all kinds are not made as social creatures. They do not converse unless they are expected to, usually in grunts and moans with the most basic golems. In more complex golems such as Fe, they speak at the same level as a well educated child.
Will { | | | | | | | | | | } Golems are the poster children for dedication. They mostly function as laborers and weapons, designed to do as they are told with efficacy and precision. Fe is no exception. Combat Skill - Quote :
- Generic skill
{ | | | | | | | | | | } Force to learn combat to survive, Fe is capable of combat, but by no means a master. Preferring to avoid combat if possible, Fe generally doesn't have to fight due to its high agility. It is also very quick at making a foe incapable of continuing attacks by making quick jabs to pressure points on various locations around the body. Fe learned all of the pressure points it knows on accident during attacks by roadside bandits.
Spear Combat { | | | | | | | | | | } Capable of making pike and spears from its limbs, Fe has almost exclusively relied on this form of combat. It rarely allows enemies to get close enough to fight it with anything shorter.
Riding & Mounted Combat { | | | | | | | | | | } Fe cannot ride any kind of mount, but instead tends to hitchhike inside the barrels, pouches, etc. of traveling caravans.
Ranged Weapons { | | | | | | | | | | } Only capable of physically holding a gun, bow, or sling. Fe does not know how to use or aim any of those items. It can throw small rocks with some efficiency, however.
Unarmed Combat { | | | | | | | | | | } Fe has never actually fought hand to hand, preferring to disable opponents by jabbing at pressure points then running away. - Quote :
- A prodigy in the field of golems, Anton Loryk was one of the only mages to successfully make a Golem out of liquid water. He was born illegitimately to a elven warden, Feria Dota, and a human conjurer, Jalrin Loryk. He immersed himself in the magics his parents had from the time he could read, whether it be elven poetry on protecting his ward from those that would abuse it or the intellectual manuscripts on making a summoned demon bend to the master's will. For years he studied. making no attempt to enact any of the things he read about until he came across a book that was unfamiliar to him, in both nature and context. It was about golems. Not just any golems either, war golems. The book was detailed, to say the least. It included the techniques for the most advanced and deadly golems. Anton never thought anything like this was possible, crossing the two fields he had studied his entire life. But it was, and he had every detail he needed to make a golem. All he was lacking were the materials. After reading through each golem and the steps required to make it, Anton decided that he would make the easiest golem first, a golem made of wood. He went out and chopped up a fallen tree outside his home in the Veiled Forest, there was plenty left over for the ground to nourish itself. He then proceeded to carve out a small torso, about as big as his palm, and then each limb and the head. Into each limb he carved a rune from the book, each one meaning something different. On the right arm he carved the symbol for strength, on the left he carved the symbol for breath. On the right leg he carved the symbol for speed, on the left the symbol for balance. On the head he carved the rune of intelligence. He finished with the rune of life on the torso. He placed the parts on a sealing circle, then took out a needle and pricked his finger. He placed the finger an inch away from the torso of the golem, letting the fresh blood drip into the golem's rune of life. Anton read the incantation from the book, then stepped back. The golem didn't move. Anton sat there for an hour, two hours, what seemed like forever, waiting for something to happen. Nothing did. He looked of the book, expecting see that he had missed a step or some other mistake, but he hadn't. Distraught over the failure, he slammed his fist into the ground, thinking he shouldn't have even bothered. Then the realization of the missing step hit him. "Sit up," he said to the little wooden golem. It immediately sat up. He got excited. "Stand up and walk to that table." It followed his orders to the letter.
Many years later, when Anton had already mastered every golem in the book, he went about making new types of golems, such as his glass golem. His research consumed him for greater part of his life, causing him to go unmarried for the entirety of his lifetime. Unable to satiate his hunger, he made such powerful golems that an entire forest went silent over night, sacrificed to activate just one creation. But now he had figured out his last, greatest creation. It would be made entirely from the remnants of one of Aeria's greatest natural, nonmagical phenomena, volcanoes. He studied one particular volcano for 5 years before he decided he had sufficient data to begin attempting the creation of a golem composed of volcanic material. He decided that he would again start at the easiest material to work with around a volcano, ash. There was certainly plenty of it covering the ground. He collected roughly half a ton to work with into a pile over the course of a month of digging. When he was satisfied that he wouldn't need to collect more he began going through his notes on the various symbols and runes that would be used in the ritual. He then took a chisel and hammer to a large volcanic boulder that had been thrown during the volcanoes earliest eruption. He began to carve a mold out of the boulder, splitting the boulder in half first, then carving out the likeness of a humanoid into the halves. He made negatives of each symbol he thought would work, packed ashed into the halves of the boulder, then put the boulder back together with the help of a couple wood golems. He took out a small dagger and headed over to his horse. He brought the animal over to the cast and slit its throat, pouring the blood into the opening that connected to the torso rune. Anton commanded the golem, "Get up." But nothing happened. He tried again. "Get up." Again nothing. He had the wood golems remove the top half of the boulder, but the golem had not formed.
Anton attempted this process twice a day for a week, substituting different sacrifices each time he tried. Nothing seemed to work. He wasn't going to give up, he had done more with less. On the eighth day, however, something changed about the volcano. The regular tremors had stopped. It was entirely still. Normally this might have made Anton happy, not having to rewrite a whole page of notes because the inkwell spilled on them during a tremor, but today was different. It was unsettling how calm the ground felt considering his location. He had just finished setting the halves of his mold back together when the volcano erupted. Not just magma coming out of the top but the entire top half of the cone launched hundreds of feet into the air. Anton was on hand and knee over the top of the mold whispering the incantation when a boulder twice the size of a house landed directly on top of Anton and the mold. Anton, along with his belongings were crushed flat under the weight of the rock. However, in the process of dying, Anton's blood had spattered into the hole leading to the rune on the golem's chest. The sacrifice had been made. the life force of the creator was instantly transferred into the golem. It awoke inside the tomb it was born in. It couldn't move, it was entirely encased under 300,000 tons of stone. So it lay there. for 568 years, until erosion caught up to the boulder. The monsterous rock shifted after a heavy downpour, leaving a crack just a hairsbreadth wide for the golem to escape. The golem moved through the hole where its creator had been crushed so many years ago, and seeped out of the crack into open air of the topsoil. It formed itself into a lanky humanoid shape, with long, pointed features. it then took its first steps.
This is my work in progress. I wouldn't mind if it had to be made into a special character, so long as I still got to play it. I would like to say that all the active powers are subject to change. The passive powers don't seem strong enough to be abused, but I could be wrong. There is currently no lore in the forums on golems, but I am sure that they exist within Aeria.

| I am not sure at all about the ashes being inhaled to kill someone. Even though it very plausible and realistic, it would allow your creature to seep past any armor and choke off an enemy with limited ability to resist on their end. Would seem OP with that part included, even if only enabled at the height of his health. | |

| Isn't there a thing against Golems?
it also doesn't help that because he's made of ash, he's essentially immortal, able to raise after a few hours of dormancy.
