Model Changing

Okay, I was asked to post this after I found out a way to change your model without having to use ragdolls and tagging them with the model manipulator, for the purpose of not bothering admins about ragdoll privalleges.

Okay, First off what you need to do is decide what model you want to use. Once you have choosen the model you want to use for your character you need to hover your mouse over the icon and right click, then go over the tab that says 'Copy to Clipboard'. What this does it copies the model location for of which the model manipulator does on its own with a single click.

Second, you need to open the console and most likely all of you would know how to do that, using ~ the key beside 1. Once you have that open you need to type this modelmanipulator_mmmodel which is the command to set a model for your toolgun that you can use on yourself. Now that you have that up you can press Ctrl+V (Paste) to paste down the model details so in the end it will look somewhat like this. EX: modelmanipulator_mmmodel models/police.mdl. Press enter.

Third, once your model is now selected take out the model manipulator gun and press reload to set that model to yourself.

Now you just set your model without bugging for a ragdoll. Easy.

Here's a shortcut: Allow people with TT to spawn one ragdoll.

Unless if that feature is something that has to be coded for.

I could probably code, CakeScript is easy to edit and I've got lua experience.

My only problem is that I don't like committing when I'm already so busy.

Go find youtube tutorial.

That's what I usually do for changing things into effect models. Quite useful indeed.
