The Surna's lumberjacks intruded on a gnoll tribe's territory and chopped down a few of their trees, and angered by this the gnolls launched an assault on the mill. The gnoll force is large and powerful and that is exactly why you shouldn't go and try to play a hero. The first phase event is mostly one-sided, which means that you shouldn't try to bumrush the gnolls and hope for the best. You'll just get killed (read: likely TK'd). Sure you can try to muster up a group of people and launch an attack, but everything comes at a cost, so please try not to be a hero. Even if your character is a very powerful one, I'm asking you to not go and nuke the gnolls to oblivion. Just wait overnight for the Surna guard to come up with a brilliant plan (read: don't do anything stupid until we tell that you are a go).

| OOC: Three things wrong with that plan. One, Gnolls are smart enough to be aware of a trap and tainted meat.
Two, Mouse traps aren't big enough to capture gnolls.
Three, Gnolls aren't men, therefore the hyena's would eat the guards. | |

| The event will be faded into black since it is already delayed by two days. I have no reason to believe it will be kept later on. You'll get the followup quest as planned however. | |
