| ** An old book with a slightly torn cover lays in a pile of twigs, grass and clothing bits formed in a small nest-like bed within an alleyway.
The book's original lock is broken beyond repair, in its place is a small rope tied around the book's frame.
The book is easily pried open; the pages within it are slightly used, but its obvious at the attempt to keep the book clean amoungst the mess around it. **

I found this book in my father's basement before I left, it was empty so I decided to put stuff in it and make it look pretty. When th' garden grows new flowers, I'll draw them too. I don't know why I like flowers so much, they smell good and are pretty in my hair... But some of th' guards tell me I'm not allowed to pick any no more. I don't care, I'll still pick as many as I want, they're not the boss of me...

I met this guard t'day, his name is Zack... He caught me stealing flowers and catched me with a lasso rope thing. He let me go with th' flowers though, so he's nice... He's very nice. I think he thinks he's my dad... I need a new dad, maybe he can be it.

I met a few people t'day; Devyn, Zaku, Jens and Shelob. Devyn says he already has a girlfriend but keeps looking at me funny. Zack doesn't like him, I find it funny when Devyn plays chicken with him. Oh, I also met this Kale-guy... He's a cat-boy an' pretty shy 'bout it. He always wears this cloak an' hood. Zaku is a cat-person too, he's really nice, unlike a lot of people and kazuths I've met before. Jen's is the bar-guy, he gives me free food but keeps asking Zaku for money, apparently Zaku owes him a lot of cash... For some reason everyone knows Zaku. Shelob is Zaku's mother... Or girlfriend... I don't know... But she keeps following him so she must like him... I heard she was married t'Thorn, which just confuses me more...

Devyn tried to feel my butt today while I was sleeping...
I con'd Zaku out of his scarf, it's soft and warm so I'mma keep it. He seem's sad t'lose it... So I might give it back t'him later... I'd hate t'lose my special blanket.
I haven't seen Zack in a while, he said something about hunting or I don't know...

Shelob let me sleep at her house yesterday, it was fun but kinda scary... There's spiders everywhere in her house, an' I can't squish 'em 'cause they're her babies. Thorn is really scary too... Shelob's nice though.. She fed me an' stuff.
Zaku an' I went on a walk today, it was nice... I like him a lot. He said he'd stay for my birthday, so, I'd better get him a present... Or is it the otherway around...

I was knocked out a few hours ago... Dunno how. I woke up in th' inn and things kinda went bad. I saw Zaku getting beat by Tz-*the name is scribbled out several times due to mispelling*- an' I bit her in the neck. I accidentally swallowed some of her blood. It tasted odd but.. Good. Blood usually taste all metally and gross, maybe bee's have sugary blood.

I heard Zaku an' Tzakuto yellin' again... All stuff about sex an' how good it was an' how she wants t'kill me an'... Junk. It's making me sad... I love Zaku, but this stuff is making me uncomfort'ble. I'm not gunna give up tha' easy though, I don' want t'leave again.

I haven't seen Zaku in a while. Hes prolly forgot me or dead. Anyway, I met this new guy, hes nice but a whipping-boy to some fancy girl called Seth or something. I saw him again today and he was waring wearing a dress, it was funny. I also see Kale now, hes wit some new girl I never seen before. Shes a cat-person too but she cries a lot, and shes scared of me. Jens is missing, or I havent seen him when he around.
I dunno. Everything is so weird now. Nobody remembers me no more, except for that wizard kid... Who tried to touch my butt. Hes a real jerk but fun to scare.
