Your party walks up the winding path to the Wizard Karthato's castle. It begins to storm, you can see the white blaze of lightning off in the distance. The smell of the thick, rotten double doors permeate your nostrils. The doors seem unperturbed. No one has ventured to this castle in decades. Perhaps you will find out why.
Yes indeed, it is time for another Baldur's Gate 2 Lan-o-Tron after the first failure. There are six spots but one is taken by me and the other is taken by a NPC. Sign up while you still can! The epic party is in need of players for slaying dragons and looting treasure. The comedy and epicness that is Baldur's Gate is in your reach. So which classes are needed? We will need at least one cleric to heal and the rest is optional to my knowledge. You can read up on the classes and the game below. We will use either Tunngle or Hamachi to set-up the "LAN" network. http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/258273-baldurs-gate-ii-shadows-of-amn/faqs/9853 Post if you are interested. If anyone has knowledge about this game talk to me through SF. If you have any questions, ask them through SF.

illegally downloading games or conspiring to do so is illegal in most nations of today you know
oh, and DnD doesnt use WoW's "YOU NEED ATLEAST 1 HEALER 1 TANK 3 DPS OR YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD" system. its more intelligent than that.
and besides, barbarians wouldn't be tanks, they'd be DPS.

I'm down with this shit, let me just get my disk down from the loft, and I'll see if I can run it on Windows 7.
[Edit: Btw, I'm starting a new character, probably an inquisitor, so we REALLY need a healer, because I'm not a good mage/cleric and I love to kill enemies FAST]

Looks can be deceiving, it's an amazing game, and I freaking love getting critical damage to kill someone, seeing those limbs fly into the air sends a tingle up my spine

Haven't decided but sure. I only got basic experience by fooling around in singleplayer.

That's pretty fair, I'm having a pretty nice time tanking with my inquisitor, the only character we really need all that much is either imoen, jaheira, or Aerie, because we need a mage, cleric and/or thief OR we need a character that's a mix between the lot.

Fear thine enemies not, mere mortal, mine elder sibling may be joining us on this quest so noble with his potent sorcerer, a mage most powerful and fierce, to aid us in this time of troubles and scarce freedom.
In other news, voice communication or text? It'd be much more simple to use teamspeak or something.

4 Hours later, we've got a game going, but every time I attempt to join the game, my game crashes, and every time I host the game, it crashes anyway, I'm going to reinstall and copy the disk so we don't have to use no-cd keys for a game we both have installed.
btw, will you be using Gameranger?

Gameranger, Hamachi or Tunngle. Doesn't matter. Also, start it as administrator, that might fix it.

Gameranger works, Hamachi can go stuff itself, firewalls it's god damn self, even without Windows Firewall or any antivirus, plus Gameranger sets all the settings itself, meaning minimal effort and maximum efficiency.
I'll set up a teamspeak server or something if you'd like.
Also, we need a date :p

firewalls itself?
that's just dumb.
hamachi works fine if you're not about as handy with computers as a retarded chimpanzee without arms.
