I turned all the firewalls off on both computers, I port forwarded it , I turned virus protection off, I reinstalled it, can you think of anything else I could have done?

Anyway, yeah, we've got Saravok's sword and Lilarcor, the two most awesome sauce weapons in the game, simply because one looks cool and restores a hit point for every hit, while the other talks.

if you really did all that then the problem doesn't involve a firewall

If i did all that, it should work, but hey, it hates me, oh well, moving on.
I'm attempting to port characters and saves between single and multiplayer, so I now have two of sarevok's swords and two of baldur's hemets, giving us fighters a better chance in battle.
