Faction Moderators

Pat and I discussed about allowing some people to take the reigns with factions, and so this thread here is for members to support/nominate themselves or each other to become Server Moderators, with the responsibility of making a special character to play a service role in any of the existing factions.

This means that the 2-3 members that us admins decide to elect will get admin powers on-server, and the general 'go ahead' to create direct special characters for faction purposes.

Everyone but Munroe, Pat and I are eligible.

I wouldn't mind doing this, for any faction, I've got experience moderating and even founding factions, actually restarted one recently on LIF.

I'm getting a vibe that most people are just going to support themselves. Just a vibe though, nothing strong.

Just so long as people stay away from mah guard I think this sounds good. What factions are on the list?

Anything in the faction section of the forums, technically. Pat, Munroe and I may or may not reject a candidate's choice, though.

I'd be cool with starting up The Bloody Hand, I have Wikh, and given I could bump a few of his skills up (with some reason behind why) he could easily become a special character. Or I could make a new assassin for it. I have lots of admin experience in Hostell (before it changed), Damnation RP (before it died) and one other that I can seem to remember XD

Totally up to you people though. At the moment I don't see anyone I'd like to support, and it seems a bit douchy to only support myself.

As a karate expert I think faction moderators should be separate from server moderators. Could bring problems with hierarchy later on if for example, a faction leader is demoted.

I vote Moott (and possibly myself, more moott though.)

Guards pretty active as it is - probably doesn't need any of these.

I reckon this is aimed at the Mages' Plenary/Bloody Hand/Necromancer's Guild etc.

I nominate myself[likeadouche] to either lead (or take some sort of a key role in) the Bloody Hand as I have plans to RP targets for assassinations/lore/getting activity/merging the faction into everyday RP. Also free admin need get keke


i'm not trying to be arrogant or anything of the like, but nobody in this thread so far has been in as many admin positions as me in as many communities as me in as many different ranks as me (i can guess with fair certainty)

I also nominate Xeloras to co-lead it. Or lead it.

The current admin:player ratio is fairly pitiful.
