By my count there are already three lycanthropes, and that's more than enough for me.
Not trying to throw you under the bus or anything Psyche, but I feel it would be entirely unfair and unreasonable to accept Taric as a Ursathrope having just denied Christoph his Helen character for also being a thrope.
Nothing against you, we're friends and all, good friends - but I just don't think it would be fair. (I'd have given you my accept in a heart beat, I know you can handle such a character.. but as I've already stated, circumstance is drawing me to deny this.) Don't mean to be an uptight prick about anything buutttttt. He has a point.

| Taric was the un-named were-beast 3. Technically, he was were-beast 1, having been made before Lloyd and William. Sock kept it under wraps until it was revealed later on.
But honestly, if you read his story, you would've known already.
JUST GOES TO SHOW, NOBODY READS SHIT.

| I read his backstory and never picked up on anything of the sort.
And being a thrope is something you don't want to keep a secret because it causes problems like this, William's curse was supposed to be kept a secret but I went ahead and made sure to put it on his page as soon as I started it.

| I gathered he was a thrope from his story. It was there, even if it wasn't obvious. On the "too many thrope" discussion, I hold no opinion. | |

| I must be daft because nothing in his backstory spells out that he's a thrope of any kind. | |

| The fact that I kept Taric being a 'thrope secret is the main reason why I asked to Xeloras to move him back into approval. It's something that shouldn't go into a player character without approval.
Kain already said my argument on the "too many thropes" dilemma. It's true, I did keep it Taric being a were-beast a secret, but I still counted him when making the "too many thropes" argument with Helen. In fact, he was established before I even had doubts about how many were-beasts there were. I wasn't just being selfish.

| I'm just curious - what's your plan, Psyche, if Taric gets denied for his ursathropy? | |

I mean, he's already almost a bear.

| Hard to say. Taric is otherwise very mild to play, something I realized a day after his page was originally posted in Approval, so I started working on a character plot for some very deadly character development.
If the Ursathropy was denied, I'd probably try bringing it up again some time in the future, to prevent it all becoming one massive plot hole.
Or I could do Kain's idea.

| I guess it all boils down to trust, and I trust Psyche enough to toss him an accept, for many reasons. | |

Or I could do Kain's idea. But but you're Taric the bear, if you didn't have ursathropy, you just be a carebear. Acceptemente so you dont be the carebear.

| I honestly just bothered to look at this page and it's truely extremely overpowered in my eyes. | |

| I don't see how he's overpowered... there's a difference between powerful and overpowered.
Keep in mind, this is not a starting character. This character has already been around, actively testing and improving his skills. He's already improved somewhat from when Psyche first made him at the start of the month.
I would say Taric is powerful, but not overpowered.

| He's got 9 out of ten general combat skill and like 8 out of ten whatever the other thing was, his strength is 9 out of ten and he has no other skills to compensate for it.
To me he seems like an abnormally strong freak-of-olden-nature.

| Taric is a barbarian. He's barely integrated into society. He excels at fighting. Truly, beautifully excels at it. But Taric fails at everything else. I mean, if it wasn't for his comrades, he probably wouldn't be as well off as he is right now. The guy can't even read or write.
Also, I think Psyche may have miscalculated some skill bars.

Sounds good to me. | |
