Well apparently the server is broken for me.


I load onto the server and presto, no HUD, no chat (pressing 'y' snaps my camera up to 90 degrees) I dried rejoining 5 times, I reset my download options for GMod, etc.


How do I fix it? more detail, how do I fix it without reinstalling GMod?


even more pointed, what in my GMod directory do I delete so the server resend it to me so I can play again?

Quit gmod, restart computer, try using gmod again.

Step 1: Find a good image modifying software(More user friendly the better)
Step 2: Find a pre-made image(Like the picture of the pills), or take one youself.
Step 3: Load it into the modifying software.
Step 4: Modify.
Step 5: Save as, and then upload to photo-bucket.
Step 6: USE EVERYWHERE!

Okay, well try Steam's shitty customer support. You could have a lua error maybe an addon that is impairing your Gmod.

Actually, every other server running cakescript runs fine.... Just this one is a bad apple for apparently no reason at all.

Similar happened with me at Desertia, only, I could never access any of my characters, had to make a new one every time.... I never got it fixed,,,,

I don't see why you have ULX, you should remove it, it causes plenty of clientside errors. And if you have Malawars tools, it causes errors with Cakescript, as far as I know.

If ALL fails, it's due to some bizarre incompatibility issue, get on garrysmod/garrysmod/cache/, remove the dua folder, you'll be removing all of your clientside lua files (You know, the ones you download in like, 2 seconds).
