One of the most deadliest, and most destructive place where only few survived, the harbor was of course forgotten but known towards the veterans that survived from a supposedly dieing "War" where a band of Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, and many other allied races gathered together to fight side by side against a massive numbers of gnolls and forces of nature., by supposedly 9 demonic monsters, one of them was of course known called "Shifter" Of which soon a band of heroic people destroyed and ended him as the shifter transformed into a demonic monster that he couldn't control forcing him to end his soul, the other 8 Demonic Monsters during Siege of the Forlorn Harbor are remained unknown.
Do Note, that it could or couldn't exist, it is a story after all.

Crossbows take some time to reload you know that right.
Not like a bow, takes a bit of strength to pull back a medieval crossbow bolt.

They will 75 % of the times. The other 25 % it misses completely. Bows can also penetrate if constructed and used properly. And they're faster to reload.
