| ((The sword is actually the size of a claymore.)) The Fate Key / Ap'za Mrim'olThe Ap'za Mrim'ol is a blade from unknown origins, but somehow slides its way through the world, whether by person-to-person or... Fate. The Ap'za is an ancient weapon of intense power that usually doesn't activate until it sees fit that the user needs it. This weapon shifts powers depending on the current greatest threat by Ao's will, and then finds its own way to the proper wielder. When Ap'za Mrim'ol is awakened, it will use the wielder for any task it sees fit that needs to be done, and brings them further down their destined path. When the sword sees fit that the user does not need it anymore, however, it will either end up leading them to their death, or losing its power until another day, when the sword requires a host of its own........ In the plot, 'The Others', Duvan Shaul wielded this sword, and then died in battle, leaving it for Thorn Razel, locking his destiny as the Fated Soul who would destroy Phobia. It used the power of the Otherworld, and can destroy any Otherbeing that doesn't manage to block the swift slashes or thrusts of the blade in time. It also has the power to open and close gateways to and from the Otherworld, by merely piercing it into a solid object when the user focuses their mind for a location to travel to. | |

| The blade was awarded to Thorn and then just as quickly taken away. I don't want to rid a potential usage in later plots by deleting it.
Edit: And no, this is not the blade that Kain used. That was the Zel'zederahadfxhsxdghSDhzdfbgzdh thingy

Actually... Not all "legendary" weapons need unique names. They could be called anything, just like a "hero" of the people could have any name. Like, Ralphy Shawn. (horrible example, I know, but I'd like to see you come up with better if you had been up for 14 hours, and only slept 4 hours that morning) |

| The amount of apostrophes on a lore thread is inversely proportional to it's usefulness to RP.
Hell, Geo, must FUCKING EVERYTHING need to have an apostrophe on it? You don't even pronounce it, you just do Apza Mrimol. Not that it is pronounceable anyway.
I know, it adds the foreign, alien look of the name, but for fuck sakes, usability before commodity.

| It's that idea that everything Elvish or alien needs asinine amounts of apostrophes. Klingon words from Star Trek, Elven and Eldar words from Warhammer, etc. Much like the majority of the old lore, it's quite unoriginal. | |

| Ugh. Anyone has any particular word on why this shouldn't be removed from the lore completely? | |

| Because it doesn't belong to anyone, yet removing it would remove a section of IC history? | |

But then again, what's the point? I mean, it's not used, probably never gonna be used, and the time it was used was retconned. And it's extremely powerful and subjective.

| The time in which it was used wasn't retconned, that being the Otherworld Chapter. | |

| I thought the entire Otherworld was gonna be retconned, since it's, you know, awful. | |

| ._. No, the Otherworld chapter wasn't retconned. You might be thinking of the whole "Ne'ha'lanthula" plot Geo had started and then abandoned. And in any case, that plot in itself wasn't erased--All of the Otherworld powers gained during the Chapter and after were "contained" by a member of the Priory of Scorn. | |

| Ugh, all these Otherworld shitty things make my head hurt. I would rather restart and build the lore up from the ground again, if It were in public vote. |

| Why does the Otherworld make you so mad? Yes, the people who used it should not have had such power, but that's been taken care of now. | |

| Argh, it's not just that. Our lore is half taken from other things. If we had a re-wipe of the lore, it could be built up again in a controlled and original manner. |

| I do agree that much of our lore has been taken from other places, and I've been working to correct that, but I have yet to have anyone tell me where the Otherworld was ripped from. As far as I know, it's original. | |

| I suggest that if we're going to keep it in the lore, that SOMEBODY roleplay the sword. (since apparently it has a mind and will of it's own)
As well as that it finds a companion as soon as we get back on the server. |

| This blade is a blade that essentially appears in a shape or form suited best to combat the thing that most threatens the world as a whole at that specific moment in time. Since, currently, nothing is threatening the world as as a whole (At least, not in the vincinity of Surna) it doesn't need to acquire a companion, and even then not one in Surna.
So, we can't do that. | |

| We could always keep it, as stupid as it is, just as lore for the sake of it being there.
Unless it proves to be unoriginal, in which case - BIN IT. |
