Afternoon, Aeria..

There's something I'm happy to announce, something on behalf of me, Kruggly, and even Jacque. I'd like Olden to take this as the formal apology I owed to the community for my behavior as of late, and I hope this will lighten up some grudges we may or may not be facing. But without further adieu, I'm proud to announce we have finalized a brand new forum with some features I'm sure everyone can enjoy. I know we hadn't agreed on moving to a new forum, but we felt that if we just pumped one out we could get a few points across. Don't feel obligated to use it, as we had a lot of fun putting it all together. Both Xeloras and Pat were in on our endeavor, so we haven't been going behind anyone's back.

Aeria Roleplay - A Garrysmod Community

• Custom Buttons and Banners made by Jacque.
  
• A beautiful new theme customized and crafted by Kruggly and Zaku (But mostly Krug)
  
• A new refreshing layout that is still reminiscent of the old forums.
  
• Various boards have been reorganized to be more fluid and easily manageable.
  
• We went ahead and did away with most of the forum sections that had not seen activity, sections like the 'Votes' and 'General Discussion' which can be left to other boards.
  
• We ported over the Lore we felt was already established and concrete, anything else will have to be reviewed and worked over.
  
• We introduced the 'Lore Suggestions' section where new players are expected to post their lore ideas so that the local writers can assess and work them into the Lore.
  
• We introduced 'Personal Boards' where anyone can request their own board & moderator over said board. Feel like you'd like to discuss your latest adventures in Dwarf Fortress? Contact an admin, get your own board and moderator.
  
• No more emoticons. Sorry.
  
• Usergroups have been finalized. There's is a single 'founder' and 'grand admin' account that is able to do everything a forum can handle. This will be handed over to Pat and Xeloras. Beneath them is the Admin rank for Admins and Moderators alike, and beneath that is the Custodian rank. A rank we established that is ONLY able to edit, move, and moderate threads in the LORE section, everywhere else their power is null. (Me and Kruggly have Custodian right now, but this is subject to change)
  
• An Archive section for stowing away threads to keep down clutter.
  
• A formal complaint section to work on issues between community members before they devolve into petty fights.

This new forum is completely compatible with Olden's forums. ALL THE THREADS YOU SEE WERE DIRECTLY COPY-PASTED, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PASTE YOUR OLD THREADS. IT'S THAT EASY.

We do ask that if you're transferring lore over, you put it in the SUGGESTIONS board. DO NOT POST IT DIRECTLY, let the Lore Masters look it over first.

Now, you're free to begin transferring your threads over as you see fit, and make your own account. Avatars are to be kept at 150x150, thank you.

fonts too small
colours too dark
colours is always underlined red as if it is wrong but it's right

It's the same brightness as the last one.

Uhm..

Nobody else is having that problem.

Also it's the same font size. Are you high? Go look at a few lore pages, and look how they've transferred off the bat.

No I mean the font on the front page. As in the section names. Too small, can't read against the dark background either.

Everyone else can read it just fine..

Maybe you should look at the constrast of your screen.

That's also what I mean. It's the same font. Also it's a white-tan against a darker grey background. What is so hard to read?

Can't think of a meaningful way to express my opinion of it. Simply put, I like it.

I need glasses, do not want. Also monitor is fine I don't have issues on this forum.

Get glasses, that's not our fault.

It seems fine but it's awfully.... dark, it looks like every new community forum I've seen, completely lacking in stimulating color.

But really that's just a meaningless nit-pick, I like it well enough.

Uhhhh............... I'm not sure weather or not to transfer my char pages ;-;

This is something you'd probably only notice on a shitty computer (which i am forced to use at the moment), but the new forums are very graphic-heavy and they actually did slow down my browser. o.o

But they look fantastic.

I will transfer mah char page, but chances are most of my updates to everything will happen here, and then when it's finished, ill transfer stuff over.

I don't know, I just posted mine quickly so I wouldn't bother later. But are we officially switching over to the new forum?

We aren't officially switching until the community agrees on it, said Xeloras and Pat.

Speaking of, please post if you want to switch or not so I can maintain the counter on the main post.

Not sure if you counted my earlier reply. This is me saying yes to a switch. I like the style, and the new site is as easy to navigate as this one.
