I meant IC, but what happens if an assasin was "hired" by a gaurd or member of authority?

That'd still be illegal, and guards wouldn't hire assassins.

Our job is to keep people safe, not kill them.

But say they wanted someone who was getting on their case, but the public thought this person to be good, so they would hire the assassin to pop a cap in his ass yo'!

If he was evil, and the guards knew it, despite what people may thought. They'd still apprehend him.
And if they hired an assassin they would be breaking the law themselves.

They might... but it's still against the law, and if anyone ever found out, the guard would be stripped of his job and put in jail.

But I highly doubt any guard would hire an assassin.

If you're going to have an assassin, make sure you can deal with the shit that comes your way or don't even RP that type of char.

If you have an assassin, you don't BADLY hide as a baker or you won't get any business.

That's why he's trying to join the Bloody hand so he can get some mroe business! Anyway, he'd be screwed if he ran about saying "Hey I'm an assassin". Many would shout "Gaurds, Assasin! Get him!".

Of course it's illegal to assassinate, but if a government assassin is doing the job, HE'S TECHNICALLY NOT AN ASSASSIN. A person employed by the guard to kill a person is an operative, and is only used if the person in question to be assassinated is himself/herself breaking a law which results in a death penalty.
