| Vala Eytinge.Manipulation of FireBackstory:- Spoiler:
Vala, raised by a fire-mage and his wife, her father tried to train her in the use of fire-magic as soon as she could walk. But all attempts failed. The both tried to summon the power from within Vala for 16 years. The father even tried to put her under appreniceship of other mages, to teach her other forms of magic. But she couldn't. She just couldn't.
At the age of 17, Vala and her father had given up. But it soon became clear that there was something else about this young girl. She could not weave her own magic at all, but her father could still sense something within her.
One evening, during dinner, Vala suddenly started staring at her hands, fear in her eyes. Her mother and father looked over to see what it was. They didn't see anything at first, but Vala suddenly sprung from her seat and let out a cry of fear. Her father quickly rushed up and looked at her hands, and was too struck with fear. The girl's hands were completely covered in burnt skin and blood. But there was no fire. Suddenly, the fire from the candles on the table started swirling around her, and she started moving her hands, the fire playing along with. Her father watched him in delight, her mother still quite frightened. The girl had developed the ability to manipulate fire. Pros: - The ability to manipulate fire - - Burn-marks on her hands allow her to store fire up to the level of a large campfire -Cons: - Due to the burnmarks on her hands, she can not use them at all without experiencing immense physical pain - - Can not weave magic - - Due to the extra warm blood in her body she is very sensitive to cold - Steam ID:STEAM_0:0:15899266 I'm applying for these abilities because I wanted to try something new. And I feel that this is something original, and yet interesting to roleplay as.Vala Eytinge.

| Looks perfectly balanced.
He's completely screwed if he's targeted by cold attacks. He can't store all that much fire. Can't use his HANDS. Can't do a single thing about his hands. Can't use any form of magic -that requires weaving-
Don't see anything wrong with this at all.
(Should probably wait for your character page to get finished, but, meh)

| She only lived in Occitan for 6 years before her family was forced to flee due to the growing hatred for magic. And keeping with the true Eytinge spirit, she isn't a racist. |

| And, does she grow fatigued from Usage of her powers...? Or can she simply control any nearby fire without care? | |

| Of course she grows fatigued. I always take that as a certainty with powers of manipulation/telekinesis or whatever you want to call it. But I guess I should've added it to the application. It's like lifting a rock with your hands. The more fire she is manipulating, the more tired she gets. If she's just toying with a candle, she can keep going forever. It's like playing with a tiny rock. |

You meant extra warm/hot right?(We are, after all, mammals.) If not, disregard this post.

| I hate to nitpick or anything like that. But I have a question: Since manipulating fire is using fire already in existence, that means the fire is not magical, correct? Just want to know, since a stupid question is better than a complete accidental fuck-up(And the butt hurt that comes with the explanation.).(NASA confuses metric and imperial, I'll leave it at that.) | |

Indeed. She manipulates fire already in existance. But she can also manipulate magical fire, unless the caster decides to abolish the fire, removing it from existance. - Quote :

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. |
