Jens Eytinge - Ability Evolution (Re-App)

Character:

- Jens Eytinge ( http://aeria.omgforum.net/characters-f8/jens-eytinge-t2549.htm )
- The beer is now WHISKEY.

Application:

- An extension of his already existing abilities, since he has been progressively training it all his life and OOCly, nearly a year and half now since it came to fruition.

Details:

- Jens is able to manipulate magical energies in their formed state.

- For example: If somebody forms a fireball, he is able to take that form and manipulate it in any way, the only limitation being his creativity, physical endurance and varying levels of taxation that the skill requires. At a basic level - the bigger the change, the more it takes from him.

- He has so far been successful in:

+ Storing magic in its original form and releasing it later.
+ Extracting magic from an object, such as an enchantment or even a curse (if magical). This is taxing, and takes time, however.
+ Decreasing the size of magic, for storage. He does this slowly, as to be less tiring, and cannot use it offensively.
+ Altering the movement of cast spells.
+ Increasing the size of magic, with varying levels of fatigue depending on the speed of the change.
+ Changing the general shape, or form, of a certain spell altogether. He only ever changes small scale magic, or he is likely to fall unconscious without warning. Last time he tried to 'edit' an elemental, he almost killed himself.

- Jens also finds himself sensing magical presences from time to time. It depends on how strong or obvious they are.

Cons:

- Obviously he cannot use magic himself, in that he can never form spells by his own accord.

- He has very, very little fighting prowess, and bravery that rarely ever surfaces.

- If Jens tries to alter a new form of magic, he is likely to be much less successful than he would be with a magic he had experienced. In other words, he has to learn magics before fully realising their structure and how exactly to edit or manipulate it without murdering himself in the process.

- Fatigue, heavily dependant on the degree, scale or complexity of a manipulation.

Justification:

- Jens is a bartender. This is a purely defensive ability at heart, not meant for offensive purposes unless he's fighting back.

- He's had this power for all his 33 years, and over the course of two years began serious training of it in his spare time. This is a simple evolution considering.

THE BEER IS NOW WHISKEY

I might add that a certain Victoria Midnight helped him over those years with the learning of magic, giving impromptu lessons on the structure of magics - especially the darker forms.

As a justification that is.

Jens get's his powers from the blood of virgin Tieflings.
