Tech problem: Anyone help?

Hey, I have been getting the error where certain games give a "steam servers are too busy to handle your request" error no matter what. I have changed my download region, deleted any associated .ncf files, and renamed my steam client registry file twice.

Can anyone help that has had this problem before?

Restart Steam?

Restart Net?

Restart PC?

When you get that error, and doing what you did doesn't work, it's usually just what the error says. The Steam servers are too busy. There's too much incoming traffic. Just wait for an hour or so. If you're unlucky, this can persist for days.

Reinstalling steam is basically the most proven method of fixing any problem. It's just not usually the fastest.

It's not guaranteed to work. Some guaranteed ones require a bit more research/knowledge of computers, and they often change from problem to problem.
