Before you leave, you decide not to walk around in your shitty, loungey clothing. You change to your casual clothing. A scene that would make any respectable gentleman's mustache combust spontaneously. Putting your loungers in your backpack, you look under the door, seeing no signs of movement, hearing nothing either, you exhale, quietly, pulling open the door after unlocking it, you step out. That wasn't so hard. You notice the ominous room across from you, blood pooled at the foot of the door. You fear having to venture in there, so you immediately decide against it, eyeing up and down the hall. Where to?

Agreed, look for a lamp or wooden stick or anything else that can be used as a weapon so you don't have to rely on your limited and mo probably precious ammo.

You edge over to the briefcase, keeping your eye on that door. You're sure it's a trick of light or something, but you think you saw something shift around in there. You open the bag, regardless, inside you find a..Bsolutely nothing, surprise. It's been searched already, the inside's a bit torn up. You decide to leave this floor. You head up the stairs after pushing the bag aside, ascending. Unaware you're being watched. You see this, smudged, or sprayed or something, you can't tell, on the wall, indicating that some sort of house is down the stairs.. You have no idea what this means. You reach the very top of the stairs, you notice the room down the hall has a reinforced door, and frame.

I dont second Fuzzy, i would go for the safe house door and see if anyone is there, once at the door turn around to see if anything is following you, and keep the gun at the ready.

You quietly walk down the hall, glancing behind you, holding your gun as you advance, not seeing anything on the stairs. You begin knocking audibly on the steel door, it looks like there's a slider on it. You knock for a few seconds before stopping, a middle aged sounding man shouting "SHUT UP." You back away from it, slowly, startled by the guy suddenly shouting, you glance down the hall, again, still nothing there. What now.

Dont search the rooms what so ever since you dont have a light and well its to dangerous, so head down stairs, once you get to the floor that you had your apartment at see if anything has changed, if not go down to the lower level. O and keep you gun trained on the doors.

You quickly figure out that they are both the real one, raising your pistol and aiming down it's sights, firing one shot, it impacts the woman in the eye what are you talking about she was always red-headed, blood spattering about as the shell pops out of your gun. The missing-an-arm zombie continues running at you, unscathed. At least, until you drive your leg into his scrotum, he stiffens up, you deliver three more kicks into him, he tips over forward, clutching his ground with one hand. That was a LOT EASIER than you thought it'd be. You turn to the elevator, tapping the button, the man inside the saferoom ignoring the shots outside. The elevator seems to be out of order, well, the button buzzed but it didn't come up. Oh, wait, the control pad is out of order on these floors. You head downstairs, making sure on each floor there isn't something waiting to tear your throat out. Stowing your gun as you reach the first floor. You run for the elevator, getting inside of it. You hit the lobby button. The door closes, it jumps a bit as it sends you downwards, you failed to notice the arrow pointing into the boarded up room, there was probably some weird puzzle shit in there anyway. You step out of the elevator as it hits the lobby. Man this place is dirty, ransacked even. Where to, or, em, what to.
