"Commander," says one of the bridge crew. "We are receiving a transmission, using an Imperial encryption channel."

"It can't be the Inquisition... allow me to answer.

"This is the Battle Barge Sanctus Blade of the Imperial Swords Chapter. I am Gladius Exverum, Chapter Master. Whoever you are, we request assistance, immediately."

After concluding the message, Gladius turns towards his bridge crew. "Pull all of our ships back towards the Battle Barge. We will have to bear the full brunt of this assault, and pray the Emperor keeps Sanctus Blade intact. I want all available techmarines aboard this ship and maintaining its vital systems. Make us last as long as possible."

All of the Imperial Swords' ships move towards the Sanctus Blade, evading enormous amounts of weapons fire and debris. A Hunter Destroyer collides with the dead hull of another vessel, and loses propulsion. Crippled, it will not last long.

The vox transmission crackles, and an image of Sarpedon would appear on the Strike Cruiser's pict-feed - his top half, atleast.
"This is Librarian-Commander Sarpedon, acting Chapter Master of the Soul Drinkers. We will assist you. We are, however, dangerously low on fuel. Anything you could provide would be sufficient. We're beginning our approach on the enemy fleet. Sarpedon out."

The various thrusters across the stern of the Brokenback gun to life and it begins to apparoach the Chaos fleet, one of the massive cannons inside the Imperial Battleship melded into one side of the Brokenback slowly warming up and taking aim.

**The orkz spread throughout the city, clearing out stragglers and lookin' fer gud bitz. Mekboys work to construct flak kannons around the city, on buildings and built into the destroyed trenches. A secondary tellyporta is also being constructed in the city's main governmental hall. WAAAGH banners are put up all around the city and it's crumbled ruins. The two ork kroozas reach their destination at the city, and dock on top of two skyscrapers.

**The warboss comes upon a damaged communications array. "Oi, mekky, get ova' 'ere." A mekboy hobbles over,"Whatcha' need boss?" Krazhkull grunts,"Dat dere' fing, I'ze got ta' have it. You'ze can do somefin' about it ta' make sure those posh 'umies boyz don't dakka me city?" The mekboy looks over the array, nodding,"Ye, boss, just give me an hour or two!" The mekboy runs inside, with his grot assistants.

*Waaagh! banners are erected around the city, and many flak kannons are near to or finished construction. The tellyporta is a ways to being constructed or near done, and the communications relay is going at a slow pace aswell.

++ The arrival of these pitiful, self-proclaimed faithful, rused the blood of the chaos fleet. They would not allow these moronic blasphemers to interfere with their glorious duel with the Space Marines. Never!

Half of the chaos fleet turned towards the approaching vessel. Their warp engines roared as they charged forward, their lancers and cyclonic missile batteries spitting fire and death at it's location. The fleet seemed so much more organized. It had entered a battle formation and were splitting up into groups to avoid being destroyed amass by whatever weaponry this abomination of the Imperium may hold within its grasp.

The remainder of the fleet simply locked itself around their command ship, whose engines was recently damaged by what remained of the Space Marines's forces. However, it did not respond. It simply remained there, afloat. It awaited the Space Marines, welcomed them even. And upon it's command bridge, the ship's wicked commander stood tall, overlooking the planet below.

"These worthless gnats are testing my patience! Why have they not breached our hulls yet?! This idle wait is making me restless!"

Lord Morwrath of the Red Brigade stood towering over any other being in the bridge. He was clad in mighty terminator-class power armour, tainted and infused with a thousand rituals of Khorne. His very presence seethed promises of power and glory into the welcoming ears of all around him.

He raised his mighty chainaxe, inspecting it as he let out a mighty and frustrated roar. The Space Marines were testing his patience! Very well then! Let them! It will make their imminent doom all so sweeter!

On the ground, however, the traitor forces were already cutting their way through the planet. They slaughtered any and all, human or xeno alike. And those whom courage and will grew weak, fell to the temptation of being saved by joining the ruinous powers. Meanwhile, around the sector of the planetary capital, now under Ork rule, the traitors were setting up artillery positions and were amassing for an all-out assault. This planet would become their feasting ground, not some disgusting Ork world. ++

The intention of these vile traitors was clear. They would dare to overstretch themselves and engage with the only free men of the galaxy. Those who are free will give whatever they have to preserve it - and they would. Sarpedon barked, once, the short order of "The Nova-cannon, Lygris."

Almost instantly, the thrusters on the main bulk of the ship flare to life. The Brokenback, largest Space Hulk ever encountered by the Imperium, began to advance like a slow, lumbering, hideously deformed bear, eager for the kill. And kill it would. The nova-cannon, positioned at the prow of the ship, that had been warming up as the Traitor fleet had first been sighted, now spat a huge arc of death in form of magnetic pulse at the main gathering of cruisers, before some can even form the intended groups, the projectile imploding ferociously as it reached it target, causing a miasma of crushing force - sending ships cascading in all directions, most notably, two of the Red Brigade cruisers colliding, a secondary explosion larger than the first blossoming and dying almost instantly in the cold void of space.

The Brokenback then simply ceases all hostile movements against the Red Brigade fleet, remaining still, thruster speed dropping to nil, perhaps offering them the respite to think twice about their assault. Notably, however, the Red Brigade sensors would pick up weapon batteries being primed - presumably ready for another barrage of death should they insist to continue.

Morwrath's Retribution-class Batlteship would pick up an incoming vox transmission, from the Brokenback.

**A deffkopta flies through the city, landing near the city hall. An ork hops out, moving through the crowds of orkz constructing defenses, he runs up to the Warboss, overseeing the tellyporta constructions. "Boss! Tha' spoiky head boyz, they'ze be choppin' us up roight propah in da' jungles!" The warboss smacked his boss pole into the ground, turning. "Get'z some wartrukks full'a boyz down dere, smash um! 'Ell, I'll come too!" The ork nodding, turning and yelling for some wartrukks. 3 wartrukks turn around the corner and stop. The warboss takes up a whole trukk, as the rest are filled with boyz, they roll out of the city with a small horde trailing behind.

**Deeper into the jungle, an ork squad patrols, looking for a fight. In the distance they hear ork yells and gunshots. As they run to the location, they come upon dead orkz, looking around. "Dass' weird, de'ze boyz kill each othuh?" A nob smacked the ork over the head,"No you stupid git, or else some of 'um would be alive!" From a distance, they hear heavy footfalls and rambling.
"Enemies, enemies, raaaghghh! Blood, blood! GhhagghrhragghGhhrahghga! Die, kill, hnnggharagghhaa! Foul xenos- BURN. BLOOD. BLOOOOOOOOD. GHHHRAGGHH"

The orkz turn to the chaos beserkers running through the foliage, the nob yells. "Use yer' choppas!" The orkz drop their weapons and pull out their choppas, charging to meet the beserkers.

Sanctus Blade's engines suddenly roar to life, and a mighty cannon affixed to the front discharges, blowing a hole straight through the ships surrounding the Battleship. The Nova Frigate accelerates through this hole, coming to stop near the docking area of the ship. Its Lancer blows open the blast doors, depressurizing the section and sending any ambushers into the cold lethality of the Void. Then, the Strike Team makes its move, floating from the Frigate and into the Battleship. Two squads of Assault Terminator Veterans, as well as Gladius and Lucidius, enter the accursed ship. One squad of Terminators has a melee loadout, two with Chain Fists, the other two with Storm Shields and Thunderhammers. The other squad has two members with Heavy Flamers, and the other two with Power Fists and Storm Bolters.

"This battle will not end in space, traitors. Relish these moments of combat if you will not repent, for this is the last sick pleasure you will partake in before your doom."

Gladius Exverum draws his sword, the chapter's oldest and most prized relic. The gleaming Power Sword is as ancient as it is deadly.

++ Morwrath sat down upon his command chair, watching as the Space Marines boarded his ship and as the debris of his mighty fleet laid scattered amongst the void. He clicked his tongue when an incoming vox request was presented before him. Did these loyalist scum expect some form of an audience? Were they expecting a response from their enemies? How dull. Morwrath and his followers were creatures of an aggressive nature. They did not believe in habit, order or organization. Out there, on the bloodied fields of war, the only person to trust would have to be yourself. Only your abilities could save you. Only your strength could carry you, ever - ever onward towards victory. All in the name of the horned one; Khorne.

Morwrath simply waved off the call, and declined it. Meanwhile, he had his remaining offensive fleet towards the Brokenback called back. He had plans for that floating abomination.

He stood up from his chair, clapping his mighty gauntlets together as he called for his most trusted officers. They immediately called forth some minor traitor guards and sacrificed them by slitting their throats. As their unholy blood fell to the bridge's cold, steel floor - The officers began to use the blood to draw symbols and markings around Morwrath, as well as the walls and floor - Even themselves. They were preparing a most hideous and foul ritual. One that would turn the tide to their favor. ++

++ As the Sanctus Blades's strike team entered the dark, whispering corridors of Morwrath's command ship, they could hear nothing. They could see no sign of traitors, whether it be physically or by the means of sensors. It was simply quiet. Dead quiet. Ahead of them was a closed bulk-door and to their left and right were two corridors that lead to the unknown. ++

++ As the ork patrol grab for their primitive weaponry and charge out towards the foliage, a mighty follower of Khorne throws himself at the closest ork, chainaxes in both hands. He presses his axes into the nearest ork grunt, splitting him apart with a mighty roar as he sheds his axes downwards, the chains ripping through the flesh of the ape-like creature.

The Berzerker then grips the limp remains of the ork and with the strength of chaos, throws it at the nearest live ork to send him reeling. Not wasting any time, he then charges for the next ork after that. This was not a battle. This was a slaughter.

To make matters worse, a total of nine more Khornite Berzerkers charge at the remaining orks, their axes held high and ready to make cattle out of these greenskins in the name of Khorne!

"Grahaa! Raaarrghrr-aarr! Blood! BLOOD!" ++

One of the serfs in the command bridge of the Space Hulk noted the vox request denied, and turned, gazing up Sarpedon's hulking arachnid form, summing up the courage to inform him.
"C-commander Sarpedon? There was no reply, or, or rather they actively cancelled the vox transmission."
Sarpedon pondered upon this for a moment.
"Lygris, bring her around and set weapon's batteries on lock for as much of their fleet that can be hit in one salvo. Await further orders."
Sarpedon turned, suprisingly gracefully for such a hulking figure, and made his way out of the Command Bridge down into the lower areas of the ship, where the Soul Drinkers would be training or honing their zeal with the Chaplain.

The Brokenback lumbered around to the aft, batteries of the Retribution Class Battleship grafted onto the rest of the hulk some thousands of years ago, took aim at the traitor fleet, careful to avoid any contact with the other chapter. Then, it waited. Watching.

**The orkz are torn apart, only the nob survives. He swings his 'uge 'ammer, smashing a beserker into the air. He yells,"WaaaaaAAAAAAAAAGH!" And charges into the beserker group. He swings his hammer down on one, killing him. Instantly, he's surrounded by the group and diced up, they surround him as he falls, stabbing and slicing, the ork blood sprays all over their armor as they ramble.

Meanwhile, the ork reinforcements move to the Chaos invasion. While in the city, the communications relay is brought back up, broadcasting ork-ish signals and disrupting any targeting systems aiming over a 4-5 mile radius of the city. Everything but the second tellyporta is finished.
